Past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ

A Father’s Day Tribute

Dear beloved fathers and children, today is the national day of recognition for all of you fathers out there. The men who are not only sons and fathers but also spiritual guides through the guidance and hope of Jesus Christ, the men who raise their children according to Father God’s will and not merely religion, following Christ’s direction rather than simply picking and choosing principles. You submit to them all to be the best you can be, for yourself, Jesus, and your wives and children.

Thank you.

To the fathers who work hard to provide, often going without for yourselves, thank you. God sees your selflessness, even when you grow weary and tired, desiring to drop everything and go fishing. But instead, you rise early and head to work each day to provide the best life possible for your wives and children.

Thank you.

To the fathers with physical ailments who are unable to go out to work but still able to fulfill the role of caretaker while mom works. We celebrate you. Your importance of you r love and presence in your children’s lives is imeasurable and needed and in the days when you feel not enough you are more than enough to Jesus, and your family. Remember, some times, the strong way people receive the least am out of praise because the y think you are so strong, you can handle it, so to day. We congratulate you for your accomplishments.

Thank you.

To the fathers who show patience yet firm diligence when teaching and disciplining your children, and to every father who stays quiet when feeling overwhelmed while trying to fix everything, please know that you are loved and appreciated by Jesus, your wives, your children and family, even during times when you don’t receive the time to yourself and the recognition you deserve.

Thank you.

One more thing, fathers: you don’t have to fix everything. Sometimes there are lessons that must be learned in the storms, and it’s not your job to fix them but to lead your children to trust in the Lord.

Reminding them that through faith, due diligence and patience, there is a rainbow at the end of the torrential times that will nourish your family with wisdom and faith, the things that true prosperity in life is made of.

Meanwhile, to all of the fathers out there, I have a special message for each one of you, so please stay tuned and read on. There is something special for each one.

To all of you single fathers out there, whatever the reason, today I acknowledge your presence in your children’s lives, whether they are with you full-time or not. We know that in the world today, mothers often get more time with their children, and at other times, fathers have more time, depending on the situation. Today is not a day to critique that but to acknowledge your love for your children and your efforts to be a good father in every way.

For the extra time it takes to pick them up and drop them off, be at their school functions, take time off work, and juggle your life and their lives the best you can, the Lord sees you. Only you know how much time and effort you’ve invested in your children, and today is not a day of judgment but a day to recognize that your children are important and love you very much. Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in your own lives, but remember, they need you. A father’s presence in a child’s life makes all the difference in who they are and the idea they have of themselves.

So for you single dads out there, we recognize the challenges you face and thank you. The Lord sees you too. Remember to go to Him when the weight gets heavy, and He will lift it and give you peace.

Thank you

To the fathers out there who genuinely ended up with a raw deal, where it’s not an excuse or a way to place blame on anyone else, but you truly were gypped of your right and position within your family as a father to your children, I want you to know that your Father in Heaven sees your pain and suffering, the loss you feel, and the struggles you endure. It can feel like there’s no hope, and on days like this, you mourn because you want so badly to be with your children.

Brother’s, please place all of your faith in Jesus Christ and repent constantly if bitterness starts to build up within the walls of your heart from the injustices you have faced.

Today is about you.

You’re a father, and God sees you. Never give up on trusting Jesus, loving Him, loving your children, and doing the best you can to gently find a way back into their lives.

Thank you.

To you fathers out there who have lost a child or children who are no longer on this earth with you, and on days like today, your heart is filled with love, memories, joy, and sadness, the Lord sees you. The Holy Spirit wants you to know that your Father in Heaven sees and loves you and is waiting for you to go into the secret place and be with Him, to tell Him how you’re feeling and pour out your heart so that He can pour into you.

I want to thank you for the love, protection, and guidance you gave your children in this life. Through faith in Jesus Christ, the next life is for eternity, and we teach our children to believe in Jesus, to understand the sacrifice He has made for us, to repent of our sins, and to live according to His word the best we can. Today, I want to acknowledge you and say happy Father’s Day. Jesus loves you so much, and I love every one of you out there so much. You are not alone.

Thank you

And to every other father out there, whatever your situation—whether you have been a good father or, in your heart, you know you have been a poor father and have not been present in your child’s life for whatever reason—today is a new day. No matter what has happened in the past, through faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, and allowing the Lord to heal you and make you whole, there is an opportunity to make things right. Remember, you have children out there who need you and would love to hear from you.

It takes courage to admit when you’re wrong. I’ve done it. I’ve had to go to Christ and admit my sins, and I know there are millions of others in the world who have too. Today, on this Father’s Day, I don’t come to condemn; I come to recognize the various roles that fathers play or don’t play in the lives of their children. It’s never too late to place hope and faith in Jesus Christ and receive the courage and strength it takes to change. Happy Father’s Day to you.

Thank you

And one last thing, if I have forgotten anybody, happy Father’s Day to you. There are a million different situations in the world, but if you are a father, happy Father’s Day. Thank you.

Before I go, I want to acknowledge all of the children out there without a father. On this day, you may mourn in your heart, whether your father is alive but unwilling to be there for you, or whether you have lost your father, who was wonderful to you and has gone on to another life. Whatever your situation is—perhaps your father is incarcerated, perhaps he is sick, or perhaps he is somewhere on this earth but not with you—please know that you are loved and adored by your Father in Heaven.

Today is not a day to mourn because you have a Father. Go into the secret place and talk to Him. Give Him your pain and ask Him to turn it into purpose. Ask Him to heal your heart and help make sense of it all. Even when it doesn’t make sense, if you stay close to your Father in Heaven and in His Word, it will eventually. On this Father’s Day, know that your Father in Heaven loves you, and I love you. God bless you, the special ones.

Psalm 68:5, states, “A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.”

Much love,
Sister Christine
