As the nation mourns the evil done to Charlie Kirk, his family, Christ, and both believers and unbelievers, I hold a heart stance on Charlie Kirk’s killers.
I believe they deserve the fullest extent of the law’s punishment for their crimes, but Joel and I believe that we must pray for them to come to repentance, be saved, and spread the same message of love and forgiveness.
We believe that Charlie Kirk would have agreed—that it is a blessing in Christ to meet the prayerful needs of the wicked hearted who took his life senselessly.
Charlie Kirk seemed to love Jesus, and we believe that if we, as Christians, truly show the love and mercy of God amid the hatred and contempt—including for his murderers—then perhaps the love of Jesus might reach those people and others.
Beloved, Christ is the way for healing and deliverance for so many lost and even demonically oppressed and possessed men and women from all sides, parties, and people who harbor hatred.
As Jesus taught, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew 5:44), demonstrating the transformative power of God’s love.
Jesus rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of His beloved Son, and we desire to do the same for other sinners as well, even the worst of them.
I was once the worst of them!
As it is written, “He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son” (Colossians 1:13), and we are called to share this hope with all, demonstrating God’s grace and mercy to everyone in need.
Remember, Christians…
“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” — Romans 12:21
Scripture also says:
“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.” — Matthew 5:7
“Pray for those who persecute you.” — Matthew 5:44
“Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” — Ephesians 4:31-32
Remember, Paul murdered multiple Christians, but the God we love and believe had a greater plan for his life.
I do not make this declaration lightly, I prayed and placed myself in the position of Mr. Kirk and his family.
I asked myself, what if it was me or someone I love?
Would I push myself past the flesh to do the same thing? And my answer, ‘is yes’.
Meanwhile:
“Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.” — Romans 12:15
We are praying for Charlie’s family, children, loved ones, nations, and our enemies.
We must be strong and courageous, believing in what many may not agree with, to bring glory to Christ in the face of wickedness.
Are we ‘One Nation Under God’, or not?
God bless us all,
Sister Christine ♥️
