Past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ

A People Divided

When we look at others through the eyes of our old sinful lives, before Christ, the sins that divide us in any context—whether politics, race, religion, or color—stop being reasons to condemn them with unrighteous judgment and instead become a call to action marked by compassion and righteous judgment.

For all have sinned and fallen short of the Grace of God, and need a Savior.

Even when people do terrible things, as followers of Christ, we see them differently—they’re lost, just like we were before Christ saved us.

The Bible tells us that hating someone is like murder (1 John 3:15), so if we truly believe God’s Word, it changes how we put into practice how we see everyone—no one is better or worse because of their color, party, or sin.

All sin leads to death, as it separates us from the life and holiness of God.

The Bible says,

“For the wages of sin are death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

This is how we break the cycle of hate: by choosing love instead.

Meanwhile:

Ezekiel 3:18 shared God’s warning:

“When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you do not warn him or speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.” (Ezekiel 3:18, NKJV)

And so, I continue to speak.

“If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.” (Mark 3:24-25, NKJV)

And neither can a number of disingenuous groups and organized religious organizations, elevated to monopolize on the name of Christ for worldly power and ill-gotten gains off the back of Christ’s sacrifice and His people, set out against the true church of God.

The Lord’s Spiritual body of believers, His church stands firm because its foundation is Christ Himself, and no scheme or opposition can overcome what God has established.

“And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18, NKJV)

Much love and truth,
