Past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ

Guard Your Eye And Ear Gates.

As followers of Christ, the most important thing is to live a righteous life fueled by the power of the Holy Spirit while standing on the foundation prepared by the living God, which enables us to avoid sin. None of us is sinless; in fact, the Bible says that if anyone claims to be sinless, they are a liar.

However, through the baptism into the Holy Spirit, Jesus makes it possible for us to be transformed by His Spirit. And in the midst of our lives, the enemy seeks to deceive us.

The Bible is clear that our adversary, the devil roams around looking for someone to devour, and it also states that in the last days, many will be deceived, even the elect if possible.

With that in mind, today we’re going to discuss the dangers of what we allow into our bodies through our eyes and ears, as well as through agreements with what is unclean, such as false gospels, false teachers, and unclean spirits.

That said, it often goes unspoken that our eyes serve as a pathway to our innermost parts. You may have heard the saying, “The eyes are the windows to the soul,” and it holds true, revealing the deepest aspects of a person. Our eyes not only perceive visual information but also absorb auditory stimuli. In contrast, while the mouth consumes without harming the body, what comes out of it can defile a person. Therefore, it is crucial to protect ourselves from spiritual predators by guarding our bodies, which belong to us. Unclean spirits would love to take advantage of our vulnerabilities and turn our bodies into places of ruin.

If someone is a born-again follower of Christ, they are undergoing a transformative process towards purity. This allows us to avoid things like vulgar language, pornography, horror movies, and people or places that engage in immoral activities such as unwed sex, drugs, and questionable activities.

While not all non-Christian music is necessarily bad, an authentic Christian will recognize when something goes against the teachings of Christ placing our spiritual values at risk and chooses not to listen.

In any case, temptation comes with the territory, so it’s important to remember this biblical guidance. It’s not worth putting our vessels at risk for pollution or spiritual sickness; such actions are dangerous and can often take years to overcome if we stray and don’t repent immediately. However, Jesus forgives and helps us find our way back. He desires that none should perish, so He is patient and merciful.

Now, let’s dive into the scriptures.

In Matthew 12:43-45, it teaches us: “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44:Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

Ultimately, the person will end up worse than before they started; yet, in today’s feel-good Christianity culture, which is more focused on prosperity and witchcraft, less emphasis is placed on being righteous in Christ. This leads to a haphazard lifestyle that ends in destruction.

If this message speaks to you, perhaps it’s time to repent and be transformed by the power of God. —Remember the scripture warning.

“Woe to those who call good evil and evil good.”

Please, it’s time to stop partaking in darkness and diabolical behaviors and cursing righteousness to chase what is evil. Remember, just as the company we keep can corrupt good character, so can impure pastimes. God says it’s not what goes into the body that defiles you; yes, but what you allow to enter has equally dangerous consequences. It’s a catch-22.

The Bible instructs us to protect our hearts at all costs. As it states in Matthew 15:17-20.

“Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and out of the body? 18 But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, which defiles them. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. 20 These defile a person, but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”

Matthew 12:34, also tells us, “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Consider the human heart. It plays a crucial role in how our bodies process various functions. Our heart contains four valves that regulate the flow of blood as it travels through our lungs, picking up oxygen and returning it to the heart, allowing us to function optimally. The circulatory system relies on the heart to unlock its essential functions.

At the same time, the blood is pumped by the heart to reach every organ, tissue, and cell of the body. The flow of everything throughout our body is critical for good health, whereas poor health worsens over time and is degenerative, producing progressive declines in our bodily functions.

Just as our blood delivers oxygen and nutrients to every cell while removing waste, creating a pure environment for the body to function optimally, the Word of God through Jesus Christ does the same for us spiritually. However, if we allow unholy things to enter our vessels through our eyes and ears, these pollutants can spread throughout the body, much like blood flows to the heart, resulting in poor spiritual health, sin, sickness, and toxicity. Therefore, we need a physician, and for many, this may involve a form of heart surgery.

In Hebrews 4:12, Paul is describing the Word of God as a living and active force that is more powerful than a double-edged sword. He explains that it has the ability to penetrate deep within the soul and spirit, dividing even the joints and marrow. The Word of God is also able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

In essence, Paul is emphasizing the transformative power of the Word’s sustenance which has the ability to bring about significant change in our bodies and lives

For example, likening it to open-heart surgery, the surgeon uses a sharp instrument to cut into the body in order to operate, removing what is broken or diseased and replacing it with a life-saving solution. This could involve placing a stent to allow blood to flow or even replacing it with a new heart.

The Bible teaches that God’s Word is incredibly powerful, capable of cutting away sin, sickness, bitterness, and other ungodly things from our lives.

Unlike any human effort, God’s Word can reach deep into our souls and spirits. Only the Holy Spirit can truly heal and transform us in the ways we need. Therefore, God’s Word is essential for our overall well-being, encompassing our mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health.

In fact, the scripture even says, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me” (Psalm 51:10).

Additionally, Hebrews 4:12 reminds us that “the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”

The Bible also states, “I have hidden your word in my heart so I might not sin against you” (Psalm 119:11). This confirms that through Christ’s life, sacrifice, and the Holy Spirit, His blood flows through our hearts, picking up the unneeded baggage that causes sin and strife, while expelling all waste. This process leaves us with a Christ-filled heart that pumps Christ’s pure blood through our bodies, transforming us into sanctified saints.

Additionally, gathering with fellow believers is equally important, but the anointing we receive comes directly from God. There are a lot of false teachers out there. So it’s understandable that some of you may be living below your spiritual potential due to surface-level teachings and and manufactured biblical teachings.

The prosperity wolves may appear to offer you something, but their true aim is to take from your bank accounts and line their own pockets, as religion alone cannot save or transform anyone. However, we can find hope in knowing that God can use even our mistakes for a greater purpose in the future. By following Him, we can bear fruit that nourishes and benefits others, as God gently prunes away the unhealthy growth in our lives. His anointing is authentic and thorough, providing us with genuine knowledge and understanding.

Plus, our bodies are valuable to God!

Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians, “You were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” This verse implies purity, not perfection and through spiritual progress, not religious legalism or the prosperity’s gospel we become all God created us to be.

So, beloved church, please begin to guard your hearts and shield your eyes and ears from ungodly behaviors and toxic influences, including the subtle witchcraft that lures you into sin right under your nose. It resembles “follow-me” teachers who cater to itching ears, offering a dropper of bad milk instead of the nourishing truth of God’s Word.

Remember, scripture says, in 1 John 2:27, “As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.

According to the Bible, Jesus spoke about those of us He called and set aside to teach and the word is always rightly divided when Jesus is the genuine foundation.

It is a time for repentance and spiritual restoration—a time to follow Jesus and fill our lanterns with oil.

As Matthew 25:1-4 reminds us, “Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps.”

Christ is coming, so be prepared!

He is the only living God who died for all of humanity, making it possible for us to find our way to salvation, as stated in John 14:6:

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”

John 3:16, also says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

That means you! God bless us all.

Much love,
Sister Christine
