Past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ

Are You Depressed?

Depression is a Spirit of heaviness; read Isaiah 61:3 to confirm the Spirit. It feels like a weight on your mind and body; it steals your joy and motivation to do even minor things like sit up; please read John 10:10 to confirm the enemy’s schemes.

John 10:10 (NIV)
The thief (Satan) comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I (Jesus) have come that they may have life and have it to the full. (abundantly)

Today, we face it, rise and shine.

Begin with moving; start small but do something; follow my voice to the bathroom, wash, and ask Jesus to guild you to the next step; get dressed, and wear something nice to lift your spirits.

Sit on the front step and get some sun for a few minutes; take a walk. Let GOD lead you. Likewise, trust Jesus; one step is progress.

Open to the book of John and reread the Gospel if you have to. How about reading it for the first time? Create a routine. I am here to help you today. Sit up, ask God for strength, and get up; Jesus will give you strength; the enemy is a liar.

The enemy is the devil, and a significant portion of the world denies satan exists. Do you wonder why a more substantial part of the world, including yourself, is mentally sick and depressed? You are not alone; Satan wants you to feel alone. You’re not!

Does the Bible say there is an unseen force holding you down? Yes. You are not crazy; it’s not all in your head. You’re suffering is accurate, and Satan is a deceiver. It’s time to take back your life from the enemy.

Suppose you were in a wrestling match pinned down. Would you not fight back? Of course, you would fight back and flip that jokester over.

Take a look!

Isaiah 61:3, To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the (spirit of heaviness;) that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

A spirit is a person without a body. Take a look at this verse. Like you and I have a body, we see each other, and each has a character, a personality, and a mission on earth.

The same goes for spirits, yet they are from the heavenly realms and have no physical body, so they can easily cause havoc unseen but felt.

Ephesians 6:12
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Let me explain.

  1. We do not battle against flesh and blood, meaning anything human, or living with bodies of flesh and blood; they are spirits—Spiritual Persons without bodies.

2. But against rulers and principalities, powers and rulers of darkness. A Principality is a being with a position having a responsibility to oversee a territory or jurisdiction of a prince.

Look at this.

Ephesians 2:2
In which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the (Prince of the air,) the spirit who now works in the sons of the disobedience.

The prince of the air is Satan. He was cast from Heaven and now the third of the fallen angels, and the many familiar spirits are present in the air. These entities are invisible without a physical body but are spiritually present.

  1. Against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. The definition of a host is a person; notice what it says. Wickedness is heavenly places, that is, the spiritual world around us.

Stay with me, and you will begin to see you are the target of something not of this world while the worldly doctor ignores this fact and medicate society, having them believing they are damaged somehow. Yes, you might be emotionally broken, but your brain is disrupted by other means.

Too often, religion relies on sacraments and the words of men when GOD’s word is ignored. We say we believe but choose to believe what we want and deny the truth of scripture.

Today I will leave this lesson brief, but more is on the way. So, for now, rely on Jesus. Just for today. Jesus can do what we can’t, call on Him now and trust Him. What do you have to lose but the rest of your life pinned to the floor?

Remember, with Jesus; you can do anything. Repent, which is the godly sorrow for having displeased God. We all sim from time to time because the heart is deceitful. Again, you are not alone, and when you “hear” otherwise that is the enemy I told you about.

Do NOT listen; instead, open you’re mouth and come out of agreement with the Spirits of heaviness and the liar’s voice; say it allowed in Jesus’ name. Now, follow these instructions and rise and shine, beautiful soul.

Get up and know that Jesus loves you, and I love you, and soon. You will love yourself again, or maybe for the first time.

Blessings,
Sister Christine
