There is nothing worth compromising the Gospel—not money, fame, fortune, morals, or integrity.
That said, our journey is not about perfection but progression in Christ.
We reach a spiritual point where we recognize that this world is necessary for this life, but it is not our home.
We are just getting by the best we can, knowing that we do not become too comfortable living here, while respecting the choice Jesus made by sending us here to belong while knowing we are set aside.
We wait, enthusiastic and eagerly in anticipation of the will of God that will look nothing like the worldly.
Jeremiah 1:5 (NIV)
“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
Romans 8:28 (NIV)
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
2 Timothy 1:9 (NIV)
“He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time.”
Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”
Much Love and truth,
