Past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ

The Love Of God

The love of God is the greatest love of all. He demonstrated it by sending His son, Jesus, to die for our sins. The Bible says in John 3:16, it says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Jesus does not want to see us hurt or in pain, and through His sacrifice, He offers us love and forgiveness through the gift of repentance. On top of that we have Jesus to love, and because of Him we have everything we need.

In Matthew 22:37-39, Jesus said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.” Through loving our Father and friend we love others, we also gain self-respect and respect for each other. Love is the most incredible thing I have ever experienced in my life, and I have had quite a ride.

Today, I want to remind you that you are loved by God. No matter where you are in life, or what you did or didn’t do or accomplish it is never too late to turn to Jesus Christ and repent, to live freely.

Romans 10:9, it says, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”God’s love is unchanging and unconditional. In John 3:16, it says “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” This shows that God’s love is not limited to a certain group of people, but rather it is for all of humanity. However, with this love comes the need for repentance. In Acts 2:38, it says “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Repentance means turning away from our sinful ways and turning towards God. Through repentance, we can experience the fullness of God’s love and forgiveness. I was a heart broken, demon filled, the demons of depression, sexual immorality, religious divination, and suicide. I used to fantasize about jumping out the window at seven years old to be with Jesus but I heard a voice and told me He needed me here. It took me a lifetime to understand that the voice I heard all my life was Jesus, and the eventually I stopped answering the other voices telling me to kill myself because no one loved me or treated me kindly. Today I want to share this love and testimony with you because I love you. I love the church and you are my family. Please take care of yourself and please love Jesus. He deserves love, honor and respect.

Jesus deserves your love and obedience to His word. In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Jesus loves you, and I love you. We lift the name of Jesus Christ and our Holy Father, ABBA, Adonai, Yahweh. He has many names.

Blessings,
Sister Christine
