Past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ

Autism

Autism is a neurological condition that is caused by differences in the structure and function of the brain. It is a spectrum disorder, meaning that the effects can vary greatly from individual to individual. The exact cause of it is still unknown, but researchers believe it is likely due to a combination of genetic and environmental factors rarely does anyone speak on the spiritual influences that affect families for reasons like idolatry, in addition to dabbling in false gods, and the occult, more often things without a significant cause have something thing to do with a Spiritual issue in families but not limited to.

The medical reason for autism is as accurate as it can be but without the Bible’s advice like everything else it becomes a mystery, and the cases rise. Today we have more cases of autism than before. Think about things similar in that there is no known cause like fibromyalgia which is like a phantom pain but very real.

The Bible speaks of generational curses on families that come as a result of idolatry and false gods. In Exodus 20:5 it says, “You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me.” This passage speaks of the consequences of idolatry and false gods, and how they can lead to generational afflictions. Similar to addiction, alcoholism, abuse in families, etc.

In Deuteronomy 28:15-68, there is a list of curses that can befall a nation or a family that turns away from God. This includes sickness and disease, poverty and lack, and a host of other terrible consequences. This passage speaks to the power of idolatry and false gods, and how they can bring about suffering and destruction. Yet today we are talking about Autism and the rising number with no explanation, and don’t we want to protect future generations from suffering? Jesus is coming soon but we do not know how long the final hour will be.

In Deuteronomy 30:19-20 it says, “I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days.” This passage is a reminder that we can choose life and blessing by choosing to turn away from idolatry and false gods, and to instead choose to love and serve the Lord.

In Psalm 139 we are reminded that God knit us together in our mother’s womb and that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. So, altho we can not change what is already done we must love and respect people no matter what our abilities or disabilities are, we must love and believe in God that even tho we made mistakes in our family history each person has an incredible purpose in his plan and we can alter the future by living for Christ.

Remember that through the eyes of autism, God shines beautifully, and people are loving individuals who bring much joy and beauty to the world. They are creative, often brilliant in the areas that interest them, and have a unique way of looking at the world. They have a great sense of humor and an ability to connect with people that are both endearing and inspiring. They are often incredibly loving, with a strong sense of loyalty and a desire to make the people around them feel safe and loved.

Don’t ever stare or ask foolish questions to the parents or caregivers as if people are some kind of sideshow, be supportive and understanding. God wants you to know that Autistic people are a valuable part of our world and deserve to be embraced for their unique individuals.

Today is the day!

Matthew 7:12 ESV
“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
