Racism is a battle between the flesh and Spirit, and attentive to the truth, we learn how to subdue it.
Do you know how to stop racism? Stop talking about it and no longer make excuses for being racist. Stop living beneath our Spiritual means in Christ to live accurately in the Covenant with Christ.
The Prophet Ezekial exited the Lord’s words when he spoke, “I will give you a new heart and a new mind. I will take away your stubborn heart of stone and give you an obedient heart.”
Yet people choose to live with oppression that stems from an unforgiving heart and unchanged mind; you will not find any true born-again believer making excuses and hating their brother because the mind is made right by God.
Oppression is the state of mind subject to unjust and unfair treatment or control—the reason is a mind intimidated by the effects of a forgiving heart and a spirit of oppression. It takes deliverance and healing through the Holy Spirit of God to be freed from the chaos and victim mindset.
Religion won’t do it, and church service can’t handle it; no, it’s the transfiguration from flesh to Spirit through blood washing.
After all, people say, I know this black man, or I met this white woman. No, I say, I know people. What do you speak with your heart while your mouth is moving?
Racism is an artificial divide headed by satan, which began with evil men and women who seized an opportunity for self-gain.
Reflective on the world we live in currently, where the gospel of Jesus Christ is twisted to create worldly kingdoms, the reason is the source of the divide is the same.
Do not forget what Paul says in Ephesians 6:12, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
This battle between the color of men is a far deeper and more sinister motive for the divisive and evil. If you search the meaning of race, the synonym is ethnicity or competition, and competition equates to a rival.
Racism is devised from wicked hearts polluted by unclean spirits, made possible through the fallen nature of man beginning when Eve listened to satan for the first time in the Garden of Eden. Ever since the divide from the pure spirit in which we were created, the flesh and heart are at war inside each of us, and Satan markets the madness through the inferior minds of men and women. We must walk with God, born again into the Holy Spirit, to overcome the war over ethnicity.
Ethnicity is essentially a cultural, behavioral concept having zero to do with the pigment in a human person’s skin. The music, hairstyles, dress codes, and speech are all derivative of culture.
So this means whether a preppy light-skinned human is dressed with a flipped color and is arrogant or a dark skin person who sags their pants and speaks slang—the debate isn’t race but a divide stemming from cultural differences, and both need a God-check.
Satan twists to create a narrative and divides people who refuse to forgive and recite the same old song for centuries rather than living out the gospel they preach.
Furthermore, whether it’s light-skinned or dark-skinned people, society is guilty of not standing up, and speaking unity, and unity is a voice void of “but” and what-ifs, firm, solid, and centered on God’s will and not people like Farrakhan, or the Klu Klux Clan.
We are guilty, and religion is a swamp grown by people who turned into snakes by listening to satan; people build for themselves churches and kingdoms to please their flesh, and their hearts continue to be wicked.
These facts may sound offensive to a person who is not sold out for Christ but a slave to tradition.
At the same time, we have an administration that race-baits and media who are just as evil as its originator. We live in the end days where there is no truth, but the narrative replays history in a way that demonizes light skin people like dark-skinned people early on in our history books.
Satan is responsible for every form of division that creates animosity; it began with Adam and Eve and progressed throughout history with Kingdoms, races, heirs, skin color, sexual immorality, families, politics, and gender, and will continue until the return of Christ.
However, God’s people are responsible for being who we say we are, and a Christ-like follower of Jesus Christ calls out the lie and steps in with the truth.
Let’s Pray
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation, and uphold me with thy free spirit. 13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways, and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. 15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. 17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. 19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar. (Psalm 51:10-19)
We can not change the past, and we do not deny the pains of history, but we can stop making excuses and head into the future honorably.
“Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near” (Matthew 4:17).
Repentance is a critical action in the Kingdom of God, and I encourage a deep scriptural study on the gift of godly repentance.
Blessings,
Sister Christine
