Death is a painful experience for the living who are left behind, and the loss of a loved one makes people feel desperate to talk with them again or receive messages. Although the longing is understandable, contacting the dead is not permitted by God.
The attempt is a sin against God and results in either deception or involvement with demonic entities impersonating the dead. Father knows that loss is heart-wrenching and confusing and weighs heavily on hearts and families, the reason why you are not alone. Jesus is there, and so are the heavenly angels ministering and administering love and comfort.
Ecclesiastes 9:5
For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for their memory of them is forgotten.
Is God saying the deceased is to be forgotten by you? No, He is saying that to try to contact the dead and believe you can hear them or receive signs is the enemy’s deception, and Jesus wants to protect your mind and heart from sinning while He offers you His peace in your pain.
The Bible says, There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
Heaven is a place of great glory and joy, no more tears or carnal things like depression and feelings of loss and heartbreak. Therefore we should, in all good intentions, seek the Father’s will in these matters and the loss of loved ones.
Regarding mediums, they do not speak to the dead; they interact with demon spirits who impersonate the deceased and have been in your families a long time and know everything about you and your family members. They deceive you into causing you to sin.
Leviticus 19:31
Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God.
Defiled means to be corrupted, polluted and made unclean. The Bible says that He will return for a pure and holy, consecrated Bride and church.
1 Corinthians 1:7-8 (KJV)
So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Philippians 2:15 (KJV)
“That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;”
For those who know Christ and are born again, there will be a reuniting with the same who also knew Christ in life. Jesus makes the way and knows your pain, so He offers His love and genuine peace, grace, and eternal life through His Spirit because of the works on the cross and when you receive a spiritual sign of any kind. Give GOD the glory.
All good things come from GOD.
James 1:17 (NIV)
Every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
May God carry us home in His perfect timing.
Blessings,
