Real power is not about controlling others or managing how people perceive you. Real power is the refusal to be controlled.
It is a lonely and isolating road to be self‑sufficient in Christ—especially when that self‑sufficiency is viewed as sin by those who love their sickness more than the freedom they claim to possess.
Oftentimes, people become prisoners of the very systems that convince them they are superior to others—superior to those who are obedient, spiritually strong, kind‑hearted, and unconditioned by worldly control—simply because they themselves are easily controlled.
Authenticity in Christ is not rebellion; it is holy accountability—submission to Jesus, to His Spirit, and to His Word. Yet such authenticity cannot be controlled by the world, and for that reason, the path becomes lonely, winding, and often deeply painful.
Who can relate?
Meanwhile, a softened heart is not a pushover. To be refined in Christ allows His power to remain pure within us—humble, yes, but secure in His identity and in our own.
And when we walk in the authenticity Christ paid for, we feel the scorn intensely.
As Scripture says, “The righteous are as bold as a lion” (Proverbs 28:1), yet that boldness is carried in a heart God has made tender.
Sometimes people mistake kindness for weakness or boldness for arrogance, but those judgments come from the accuser, not from the Spirit of God.
Scripture also says, “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7).
One thing I’ll say is this: those who are easily controlled speak to please the crowd.
They shout about “POWER” from the stage, but their words are hollow because they only offer fragments of truth mixed with lies.
They cannot be bold, because boldness requires integrity—and integrity exposes masks.
And losing acceptance is a price they refuse to pay.
And that isn’t power—it’s deception.
Scripture says, “The fear of man lays a snare” (Proverbs 29:25).
Therefore, speaking personally I won’t backpedal when people dislike what I have to say.
Truth doesn’t retreat.
And again, scripture gives us a bold heart and a fearless spirit that stands out and doesn’t backpedal when things get uncomfortable.
Ezekial 36:26
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you”
And the new heart in Christ is soft toward God, and bold for His truth and honor, but it is not rude or weak—but strengthened by His Spirit.
And believe me, not famous.
Jesus Himself taught, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God” (Matthew 5:8).
So for those of you who do walk in the power and authority of God: Christ’s purity does not mean perfection.
It means a heart cleansed by God—stripped of ego’s influence—making us sensitive to pain and able to love intensely, while remaining unshakably anchored in Him.
And yes, people will misjudge that purity and confidence in Christ.
They will mistake conviction for arrogance and authenticity for extremism, because we live in a lukewarm time when the church is falling away and the remnant feels “too intense” to fit in.
But as I once heard Patrick Swayze say, “To never fit in is to stand out.”
And like Paul wrote, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2).
And Christ’s Transformation will always make you stand out.
It reminds me of Proverbs 14:13:
So while it can sometimes feel isolating and even tragic, I find joy in trusting Jesus through the difficult seasons.
It is in these years—when we speak truth to deaf ears and face the opposition it creates—that Christ’s true power is pressed out of us.
So for now, we remain at Jesus’ feet, trusting and lamenting, preparing—postured in love, faith, fortitude, humility, and devotion to Yeshua.
Our Lord and Savior is our safe place. I have been in this posture of faith for countless years. Delays are not denials—they are divine preparations.
Please Pray for me.
Much love and truth,
Sister Christine 🛡️

One response to “Genuine Power”
Hello Sister Christine, praise the name of Jesus, our Lord and Saviour. Thank you for this beautiful message. It has really blessed my soul. What you have written is the truth. The body of Christ should listern and learn from this.
I’m praying for you so that the spirit of the lord will continue to guide you to put out such bold messages that touch the core of most churches today. Most church leaders are amassing wealth at the expense of the Christians they lead today.
Its beautiful, powerful and courageous message.
God bless you and keep you safe
