Past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ

In Memory Of Charlie Kirk

From this heartbreaking tragedy that struck a hard-working and patriotic man and family, we find a profound truth:

Charlie Kirk lived and died according to what appears to be God’s will for his life, even though his time was short.

At just 31 years old—four years younger than my oldest daughter—he left an indelible mark on the world by always lifting up the name of Jesus Christ in all he did.

His violent and untimely death echoes the memory of those publicly murdered before him, such as Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr., serving as a testament to unwavering purpose.

For his family and children, though grief weighs heavy, the assurance of reunion through Christ’s eternal promise brings comfort and hope to genuine believers in the Covenant with Christ.

In the midst of sorrow, anger, speculation, and unease, a nation unites in prayer, lifting them up, believing they rest securely in the hands of the Lord.

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” — Matthew 5:10.

In regard to peace and unity among a nation fighting a spiritual war against itself—where men lack spiritual understanding and are even set against one another—know this: Although Satan has an army, the Lord also has an Army.

As Scripture reminds us, “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil” (Ephesians 6:11).

We are a spiritually prepared army that stands firm in faith, united in the Holy Spirit, standing in the gap knowing and trusting that victory belongs to the Lord.

But please understand, where there is no repentance, there can be no peace. Do not let envy, hatred, revenge, or even delusion get the best of you. As the Scripture says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).

Do you understand? True peace begins with a humble and repentant heart, not dishonesty.

Through Christ, we have the propensity to be a good and kindhearted nation of forgiving people, rising above the flesh and feelings in Christ—there is no other way. We must share our time on earth by teaching Christ’s love to one another.

As it is written, “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you” (Ephesians 4:32).

Let us live out this calling daily.

This is a time of reckoning where faith and obedience are continually being tested. Although these harrowing times are present, as we mourn and have righteous indignation for Charlie’s murder on this day—when, on September 11th, the same systems carried out a mass execution of the American people who belong to God—in the Father’s time, His retribution will take place. Leave it to God. As Scripture says, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord” (Romans 12:19). Let us trust in God’s justice and continue to walk in faith.

“Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” — Romans 12:19

These times have been foretold in Scripture, yet for decades many have merely talked about them in church without being firmly rooted in God’s Word. Now is not the time to let shallow understanding lead anyone to slip away in lethargy, for the unclean spirit puts people to sleep spiritually; we must truly live by the Word we have been taught.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” — 2 Timothy 3:16-17

“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” — 1 Peter 5:8

It’s something to think about, because not all things are as they seem. Yet seek Jesus with all of your heart; be repentant, live the Word, fast, live to forgive, pay it forward, share your testimony, and give all things time—time to play out with patience.

“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near.” — Isaiah 55:6

“Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains.” — James 5:7

And don’t forget.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” — Matthew 5:9

“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.” — Ephesians 6:11

It can no longer be faked.

The Lord also has an Army!

Much love and endurance,
Sister Christine ❤️
