For those of you feeling the spiritual pressures that often go unnoticed by a society mesmerized by the material, incapable of even admitting that our spiritual surroundings have just as much, if not more, effect on us than what you can see and touch, it’s not a mystical fairytale but the biblical and real truth.
For those of you who don’t necessarily have anything catastrophic going on to cause you to feel unwell or material struggles that are keeping you worried about your circumstances, while not dismissing any of you who are struggling through those things, we are all welcome.
However, speaking on all these things, there is a feeling of sorrow or maybe unrest, a feeling that something is coming that may not be good, while still embracing the joy and comfort in Christ during times that are not perfect but generally pretty normal.
I am here to tell you that you’re not alone in these feelings and sorrows, as it’s a significant time of change and rearranging that is both spiritually transformational and transitional, and it feels weird for a lack of better words.
As it is written in Isaiah 43:19 (NIV), “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Beloved, let this remind you that even in times of uncertainty, and discomfort that our beloved Savior and God is at work, bringing forth a Spirtual shift for the better even during what feels like the uncomfortable worst, and as nations continue to darken never forget that Jesus is on the throne, causing tremendous things to change in the unseen for our greater good as our hope stays concrete in Jesus Christ.
As it is written in Hebrews 13:8 (NIV), “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
Let this be the assurance that you have been praying for to encourage us that no matter how we feel or the given circumstances, our hope remains steadfast in Him.
As it is written in Romans 15:13 (NIV), “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Beloved community, take time to relax, to rest, and recharge in the Word of God and in the peace of quietness, never running or striving but peacefully with balance in Christ to get through these times so that you are full and ready to pour out when the time reveals itself. Whatever that looks like for each of you, it is just as important from one person to another. In Jesus’ name, receive His love and be well.
We are not alone in Christ.
Much love and truth,
Sister Christine ♥️
