Past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ

Always Tell The Truth

Do not feed into the anger coming from other people but feed that beast with love and self-control.

It can be difficult when speaking face to face to someone rude and dishonest and lying straight to your face but with practice, it becomes more manageable. —I wouldn’t say it’s easy but doable with Jesus Christ. But even the most self-controlled makes mistakes only Jesus is perfect.

That said. One thing you should know is that when you speak the truth to someone who has wronged you or your family, and you do so diligently to protect yourself, publically those are often the same people who will attempt to nail you to the wall with lies out of their wounded ego.

Liars lie; it’s what they do but I believe that the truth is protected by Jesus.

Proverbs 12:22 states, “The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy.”

I emphatically believe in the importance of honesty and integrity in our speech and behavior, both in public and behind closed doors, even when others do their very best by acting their worst to protect their hidden character and agendas, such as jobs, love of self, and money.

On the other hand, the truth-teller, who is doing their best to forgive repeatedly and giving all they have while constantly obeying God, dares to speak what needs to be said to protect others from dishonesty. They should be treated fairly with love, valued, lifted up, and respected.

Instead, we are wickedly exploited by the callous and cunning, causing us to be hated by many because of their disingenuous stories told to unfairly represent us and try to destroy us publicly.

John 8:32 reminds us, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

However free does not mean free from the wickedness and the hatred coming from those who hate the truth and cause us hurtful opposition.

As followers of Christ, we are called to be truth-tellers, reflecting His light in a world often filled with self-centered agendas and deception.

Ephesians 4:15 encourages us to “speak the truth in love,” guiding others towards healing and understanding.

There comes a time in the lives of God’s anointed when, at every turn, good is called evil and evil is called good.

What should be treated with love, kindness, and respect is treated with contempt, rivalry, and revenge, which are the seething attributes of the guilty directed at the innocent.

They believe that the truth spoken openly makes them look bad when, in truth, it is their bad behavior that makes them so.

When this is revealed openly, all hell breaks loose in their spirit. Like the religious, who pretend to be righteous, their true nature comes out, and it seeks to crucify the honest in Christ.

In these instances, the wicked have a way of manipulating the naive to believe them and act as witnesses to help nail an honest and upright person to the wall.

However, we believe in the redemption of Christ to reveal the truth in His time. —This is where faith in action produces results that we may not see but that manifest from Heaven.

Isaiah 5:20 (NIV):
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”

When we stand alone with no one to help us or listen, to stand up for us proving innocence we believe that Jesus is listening. With our Savior as the Judge in Heaven, we have faith that He has more authority than any court on earth.

Psalm 121:1-2 (NIV):

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”

Romans 8:31 (NIV):
“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Sadly, this type of faith makes the unbeliever, who claims to be a believer, even more angry. We cannot win in these situations; all we can do is trust Jesus to unveil the truth.

Have a good day.

Much love,
Sister Christine
