It’s easy to give in to the emotions of betrayal. To step down to levels beneath you, but do not take the easy route; instead, take the righteous path and pray for your enemies.
Stay above the noise and allow your prayers to fall upon the heads of the betrayal.
Satan often used those closest to us such as family and friends to lie and decide therefore making themselves our enemies out of their envy and covetousness.
I encourage the body of Christ to pray for repentance and forgiveness for evil-doers and ask for God’s mercy to fill. Live out the word of God so that in your heart you can forgive.
God blesses those who are obedient, but the unrepentant will never find peace in their hearts and minds until they repent.
The wicked suffer more than we can imagine due to their own misdeeds. —We may not witness their torture, but their inner torment is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
We don’t need to see them suffer to know this is true; what one man or woman sows, they will reap.
Scripture Concurs:
Matthew 6:14-15 (NIV)
“For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”
Matthew 5:44 (NIV)
“But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”
Isaiah 26:3 (NIV)
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you.
Proverbs 13:21 (NIV)
Trouble pursues the sinner, but prosperity is the reward of the righteous.
Psalm 37:1-2 (NIV)
Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants, they will soon die away.
In this mercy, may God show compassion to the wicked, including families, friends, and nominal Christians.
Nominal is petty.
I can confirm that it is extremely painful and hurtful to be misunderstood.
It is one thing to be completely bamboozled by sociopaths and liars, psychotic narcissists who manufacture stories about obedience in Christ after loving them, helping them, and giving up your life to do anything for them.
And another to be intentionally beaten down and spit on through smear campaigns, publically simply because their ego is hurt by the truth of their own behavior, which is too distressing to face.
It’s something that the chosen in Christ deal with repeatedly. Even so, we obey God, pray, forgive, and go to our Savior and friend, Father and Mother Figure Jesus Christ for the healing needed every time it happens to strengthen.
We move forward, upward.
Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Much love,
Sister Christine ❤️
