Love And Forgiveness

Today is a day for love and forgiveness, for giving without expecting anything in return. It is one of a long line of seasons to place our faith and trust in Jesus Christ for all good things. It’s a transformative time where we must recognize and appreciate that even the challenging things serve a greater purpose than suffering from a hard time. It’s true that we place our faith in Christ and patiently endure struggles we gain significant wisdom through the experiences.

One of the most powerful things we can do is to stay grateful. As human beings gratitude keeps the heart fond and pleases the Lord. To love one another and be thankful is a blessing.

At the same time, love is not always presented in a perfect package; it can appear awkward or frightening to people when they encounter true love in Christ. In a world where feelings or lust are often mistaken for love, true love can seem complex because it requires self-control and rationality. We don’t simply give ourselves away; rather, we gradually evolve and, over time, become holy, just as Christ is holy. This transformation allows true charity to fill our hearts and bodies, enabling us to accept ourselves, trust in God, and love all people, even when they occasionally disappoint us. Christ’s example makes it possible for us to love our enemies. Jesus is the way. Christ opens our spiritual eyes to new dimensions, and our hearts desire to undergo a transformation. We begin to realize that the physical aspects hold little significance, and that living with integrity in our hearts, minds, and bodies leads to unique and beautiful opportunities. Things start to appear less intimidating and complicated, and the path becomes clear (Proverbs 3:5-6).

And you know what? Puzzles begin to form a picture.

Beloved people, love and forgiveness are rooted in genuine repentance, which is a powerful tool that gradually breaks down a hardened heart. It frees our hearts from anger, resentment, and bitterness. (Matthew 3:8). —I speak from experience.

We must also free our hearts from fear, as it often stems from being hurt in the past by loving the wrong things and people. Many times the struggle is due to a broken understanding of what love truly means, for various reasons which can include abuse and poor choices due to spiritual immaturity, and or from a lack of proper rearing early in life.

However, when we make the choice to trust in Jesus, repent of our sins, and be born again, transformation becomes inevitable for those who obediently follow Him. It is important to recognize that obedience to the Word plays a significant role in experiencing a changed heart. This raises the question: Are you truly born again? Unfortunately, religion has hindered many individuals from truly understanding the truth. By forgiving church leaders who may have been more focused on building their own kingdoms, they may have deceived others into believing that “their way” is the right way, when in reality, Jesus is the only way.

The Great Commission is to make disciples, not idolatry to create additional blind guides who cannot see the truth because it is not within them. These words are meant to free people from this delusion, not to cast stones and cause harm. My intention is to obey the Holy Spirit and write down His instructions to assist God’s people in developing a genuine and transformative
relationship with their one and only Savior, Jesus Christ.

Through Jesus, we have the power to break free from deception and the negative emotions and chains that hinder us, enabling us to experience true rebirth, joy, and peace. (1 John 4:18)

Through Jesus Christ, we are able to love ourselves healthily not conceitingly, and love others more genuinely, for the right reasons, and in a way that is pleasing to Christ. His teachings guide us to love with compassion and understanding. (John 13:34-35)

Today is not a day to point fingers and reject the truth, especially with the new and upcoming leaders anointed by Christ to bring positive change to a dying world. Which are not actually new but have been hidden in painful teaching for close to a decade. Instead, let us embrace the love that is being offered to us through the transformative power of God.

Love and forgiveness are not always easy, good things are never easy but they are both challenging and essential for our spiritual growth and well-being. As we strive to love and forgive as Christ did, we can experience the transformative power of His love in our lives. (Ephesians 4:32)

The Bible teaches us the importance of forgiveness in several passages. Colossians 3:13 says, “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” Similarly, in Matthew 6:14-15, Jesus tells us, “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.”

When we choose to forgive others, we demonstrate the same kind of love and mercy that God extends to us. Jesus didn’t just forgive us once; He offers His forgiveness through grace. As followers of Christ, God urges our hearts to live in the same way. Forgiveness releases us from the weight of our sins and shortcomings, allowing us to feel no shame.

Through Jesus, we can experience His magnificent love that fills us with mercy towards others, all through the grace of God. Christ empowers us to love others more genuinely and without reservation, just as God loved the world and gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

All glory belongs to God, and all praise belongs to Jesus. Our honor must glorify our Savior, for He is the source of all. Thank you, Father.

God bless you,
Sister Christine
