Past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ

A Word For The Church

“We All Need To Hear It”

Sharing the gospel on online platforms is an art form when done in unity with other believers – art as in a skill, with the aptitude to respect each other’s perspectives. I can’t tell you how many times people have come at the Holy Spirit’s, revelation, and insight, and accused it as wrong, evil, or any one of satan’s divisive accusations claiming that it is from God, but it’s actually anti-God. And without true Holy Spirit discernment, people really think they’re doing the right thing.

I share this message in love, so that people with good intentions, and who really want to add on or contribute without devaluing another’s words, can understand that sometimes a word is limited to a specific subject. However, there is so much more that can be added and expanded upon.

That said, I have found over time, and I am sure you can agree that through the guidance of the genuine Holy Spirit, we mature as followers of Christ.

As a result, we are able to have positive exchanges with one another when discussing various subjects. Moreover, it is true that one person may receive a revelation about a scripture, while another may receive a different perspective within the same context, and that is beautiful. It amplifies the power of the Word and strengthens the body of Christ.

However, this is not always the case in today’s church. In fact, it’s hardly the case. Many people are hell-bent on invalidating another brother or sister’s teachings in order to assert their own points, which is not the most effective way to communicate the Lord’s message or spiritual unity.

This is why I choose not to participate in online groups, as immature Christians often tear each other apart, revealing spiritual immaturity and the presence of other spirits that are not the Holy Spirit.

I, too, was once guilty of this behavior in the beginning, but through personal growth and doing the work with the Lord, I have learned to move beyond it. I have my moments when I can get cheeky, but I always repent, and they are few and far between. It’s never wise to share online when you’re tired or worn out. The enemy is always lurking to cause conflict.

I encourage the body of Christ to research and explore other avenues of learning to gain the ability to engage gracefully in exchanges with people. Such as how to offset arguments, grammar, and etiquette.—I studied these things all g with scripture, and I learned from studying and putting it into practice.

I encourage people to refrain from beginning conversations or responding with contradictions, criticisms, or invalidations, but instead seek agreement on something and then build upon the Word. —Even in the case of absolute error, there is a way to present the truth gently and correctly, finding a way to unite and teach, rather than constantly clashing heads. This saves time and, quite frankly, avoids unnecessary annoyance.

I speak from personal experience, not hearsay. Plus, it is written in James 1:22 (NIV), Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”

It takes diligent effort and hard work to be effective in living out our faith. Additionally, this message is not aimed at any particular person, but it is a reminder that we, as the Church, can fall into patterns of invalidation and discord. It’s detrimental to us individually and corporately.

I am compelled by the Holy Spirit to share this message, as it is also my desire to help us grow and thrive as a unified body of believers.

Lastly, in Ephesians 4:3 (NIV), we are encouraged to “make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”

There it is. By seeking peace and unity by embracing and embodying the teachings of Jesus, we are pleasing to our Savior. It’s time that we learn through Christ how to play nicely together, just as we were taught in preschool.

In our new identity in Christ, we are called to have faith like children and therefore exhibit Christ’s qualities of humility, gentleness, patience, and love towards one another. We are encouraged to make every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit and to pursue peace among fellow believers.

I am reminded of Pauls’s instruction in 2 Corinthians 5:17, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

With this understanding, let us embrace these new experiences that come with being a family in Christ, seeking to live in love, harmony, and unity with our brothers and sisters in the faith.

God Bless you.

Much love and respect,
Sister Christine
