The second you know who you are in Christ, every barrier that ever stood in the way of your life is removed. You are no longer in competition with anyone but yourself. It’s a healthy accountability to contend with the old nature of who you were yesterday or the day before and rise to the occasion of today.
In a world that boasts about things that should not be celebrated with pride, we can find pride in Jesus Christ. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life!
Jesus is the answer to every problem and prayer. Jesus paid the price on the cross for the forgiveness of sins. It is through the blood of Jesus that anyone can be cleansed of the filth they once walked in. — Jesus removes shame and blame.
I repeat, at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow!
Unlike the world that loves to mock, in Christ, there is no need to mock or envy. There is no desire to be wicked. There is no desire to beat ourselves up for things that no longer exist because of Jesus. We are forgiven.
It’s true that people will judge and say, “Who does that person think they are? I remember them when…” But that’s okay. Stand for the truth of Jesus Christ and be ready, day and night, to express where this hope, joy, and freedom come from. —People will judge no matter what.
The days of being a people pleaser are long gone when you walk in the spirit of the Lord. Only people who cannot control you will hate that. That said, it doesn’t matter what anyone says, thinks, or does when it comes to each of us as individuals in Christ.
Furthermore, I cannot fully convey how convicted and on fire, my heart is right now. After these last eight years of everything the Lord and I endured together to get to this point, the average person would have hated the world and everyone in it. This is the power of Jesus Christ. His yoke is easy, and His spirit is light.
Scripture:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28
Matthew 5:14-16 says:
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Hallelujah. Praise the Lord!
Much love,
Sister Christine
