Past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ

One Nation Under GOD

As we are encountering nothing short of chaos and uncovering in several areas, nationwide, praise be to God. The political heat is turning up, and things are not always as they seem, whether it be religiously or politically. In times like these, it is important to remember the words of Isaiah 55:8-9, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

That said, politically and religiously we often hear the same things from the same people, saying what they want us to hear. However, believe me, there is change coming. And for those who know, love, and serve the Lord, we see things differently, through the lens of faith and Holy Spirit Spirituality. As Jesus said in Matthew 6:22-23, “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!”

Yet the eye that the devious see from is much darker, so how can they expect to see anything? They can not. Therefore let us continue to seek the light of God’s truth and discernment in these challenging times.

Note that a nation in political distress is a time to pray for all sides and to take a stand for the poor and vulnerable. At the same time preparation and forgiveness is in order. As it says in Proverbs 31:8-9, “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.”

Beloved, we must honor God, who stands at the door, by equipping ourselves with a spiritual sword and embodying wisdom and honor in our work and character. As Ephesians 6:17 reminds us, “Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” —Simply relying on school studies is not enough; we must focus on Christ to be fully equipped. As it says in Colossians 2:3, “In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”

As a nation we must practice accountability, virtue, and repentance and continually work on ourselves to excel and stay accountable to God, leading others with love and firmness.

As Romans 12:11-12 encourages us, “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”

In closing, there is no time for wishy-washy faith. We must work towards the mark in Christ. Is it a tall order? Yes! —Nonetheless made possible through the love, mercy, and sacrifice of our dearest Jesus Christ.

With that being said, God’s judgment is imminent, and justice is not far off; it is present. As it says in Amos 5:24, “But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!”

Now is the time. It is critical to repent and reshape our thinking, as it says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

The wise in Christ prepare in secret, while the wise in their own minds continue to scheme to appear to be godly and are critical of God’s wisdom.

Stay safe,
