Originality is the productive flow of the imagination that increases personal creativity, which enables our God-given gifts to flow freely.
Through word study, prayer, fasting, patience, and persistence, we develop a healthy relationship with God and gain self-awareness, leading to growth and originality.
It takes death-defying persistence and grit while facing the doubters with grace, and building confidence in Christ to walk in the gifts God has given you. These gifts awaken the creative flow that is attached to them.
Moreover, please don’t ever discount the Old Testament because it’s filled with elaborate gems pertaining to all aspects of the purpose of our lives. The spiritual undertones often appear when we have the Spiritual eyes to see them. Throughout the word, Yahweh guides us to fulfilling God’s will.
Furthermore, the Bible is a masterpiece of direction from front to back.
Similarly, Exodus 35:35 states, “He has filled them with the skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and fine linen, and weavers—all of them skilled workers and designers.”
As we can see, there is a God-given purpose for everyone. However, the world is chasing after money, jobs, cars, and material possessions, and the true intention and calling of God in many individuals remain subdued.
Humans have become programmed by various distractions, with idolatry being one of the greatest among them.
Paul warned us in 1 Corinthians 10:14: “Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry.”
Another point to consider is the dangers of today’s media and technology.
Today’s technology facilitates idleness, covetousness, and a copycat mindset. Social media encourages people to chase the lives of others instead of looking within to reveal what’s hidden. Day after day, it’s the same thing, leaving many never taking the initiative to understand God’s plan for their lives. These habits are the Devil’s plan and not God’s intention for creation.
God is saying deep inside each person is a vault of Yahweh’s goodness designed explicitly for you. Stop chasing the storyline and live your best life through Christ and self-reflection. Things like social media and the internet keep society living less than God created. They often facilitate envy, strife, complacency, and unrecognized dreams in those unable to break the poor habits of addiction.
Question:
Do you want God’s gifts to stay hidden or move forward successfully?
2 Peter 3:18 says, “But grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever.”
To grow, it takes work, just like anything else. For example, if you want muscles, you go to the gym and work out, and as a result, your muscles grow. If you want to be proficient in your studies, you have to read and continuously learn. We never grow into the fullness of our calling and what God has placed inside of us by constantly looking at what others are doing day in and day out.
1 Peter 4:10-19 NLT
God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.
—Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world. If you are insulted because you bear the name of Christ, you will be blessed, for the glorious Spirit of God rests upon you. If you suffer, however, it must not be for murder, stealing, making trouble, or prying into other people’s affairs. But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name! For the time has come for judgment, and it must begin with God’s household. And if judgment begins with us, what terrible fate awaits those who have never obeyed God’s Good News? And also, “If the righteous are barely saved, what will happen to godless sinners?” So if you are suffering in a manner that pleases God, keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, for he will never fail you.”
Beloved, take time to place Jesus first and allow God to prune back things like social media. Let God’s ingenuity bring your creativity alive so you don’t hold yourself back. If not, it’s like sitting to paint a picture and snipping off the brush’s bristles and expecting a masterpiece yet never beginning.
I pray that this helps you see that your life is more than flesh and bones. You are spiritual beings in Christ with a special place in this world. It’s time to chase Jesus, discover your purpose, and share it with your neighbors.
The gifts inside us are meant for the benefit of others, yet we all benefit from Christ’s generosity.
Much love and respect,
Sister Christine
