Past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ

Titles Can Be Misleading

Proverbs 18:16 tells us, “A man’s gift maketh room for him and bringeth him before great men. The significance of this verse confirms that God never tells us to use gifts, assignments, and responsibilities as titles to try to obtain clout.

More importantly, it is the fruit of the Spirit. It is the true show of a born-again, sold-out, Christ-like Christian.

Galatians 5:22-23 KJV
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance:

Being mission-driven does not involve plowing down anyone perceived as a threat to one’s position. It means recognizing when someone else is better equipped and destined for a particular job, in order to encourage others and contribute to the development of a nation.

Integrity shines brightly in the face of darkness, and in the current days, it is the light of Christ that is glowing brightly for the world to see. Never mind titles or material possessions; it is the character and transformation of a person, as well as their dedication and loyalty to Christ and the community, that reveals their “yes” to be yes and their “no” to mean no.

Matthew 5:37 NKJV
But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.

I encourage people to stop focusing on titles; they can come and go; when you know who you are, the goal is to accomplish the mission effectively. No need for outside stimulation that can cause people to live with pride, speak with arrogance and partake in sin, and especially in God’s church body.

God will not be mocked, and those who try to become someone of public stature by using titles for attention only steal from themselves and manipulate the community. Hence the current days of deception and receivers masked in “giftings,” and titles. It’s never wise to attempt to play the system when the Kingdom structure and order belong to God.

Individuals can only get away with deception for so long, decades in fact but the truth eventually emerges.

Unfortunately, by the time it surfaces, many people may have already suffered and been hurt due to the destructive actions of those who lie to deceive.

They are power-hungry, and not like those starving for Christ. Yes, they talk a good game but there are no games in the Kingdom of God.

Time is almost up!

Matthew 23:12
Those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

It is wise to be humble, structured, self-controlled, and prepared, rather than prideful, financially wealthy and ad-lib.

While some may get away with it, more people suffer due to those who pretend to be light of Christ but are no more than a lightning bug.

2 Corinthians 11:14-15
And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.

Keep your spiritual eyes open and pray often to Christ, allowing the Holy Spirit to reveal the true nature of the people you associate with in churches, partner with in business, and vote into office.

Choose wisely.

Much Love,
Sister Christine
