The sacrifice of Jesus Christ is the core foundation of our Christian theology. Jesus sacrificed himself by dying on the cross to pay the penalty for the sins of humanity. Our sins lead to hell. Paul says in Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” this verse confirms the severity of the consequences of unrepentant sin.
Indeed God loves us and through Christ’s sacrifice, Jesus provides a way for all people to be reconciled to God the Father, our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be His Name, and to receive forgiveness for our sins we must repent with godly sorrows and offer our lives to God, to live to obey God.
Check out what Paul said in 2 Corinthians 7:10, “For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, a repentance which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.” This verse implies that it’s our sheer grief for hurting God and not our own self-disgust for acting foolishly which is worldly and leads to eternal separation from God; eternal death.
The Bible teaches that all people have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. And while Sin separates us from God and the penalty for sin is death, Jesus made a way.
Look for yourselves in Romans 3:23-24, Paul says, “ For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.
Through Christ’s sacrifice, Jesus provides a way for people to be reconciled to God and receive forgiveness for their sins. and we can be saved from this penalty and receive eternal life. We must be born again. Baptised into the Holy Spirit, receive God, Christ. Having nothing to do with what a good majority of the world is promoting through various theologies called Christianity.
Indeed after Jesus died on the cross, he rose again on the third day, demonstrating his victory over sin and death.
Regarding the time left on earth, the Bible teaches that we do not know when our time will come to an end. We are encouraged to make the most of the time we have and to live our lives in a way that honors God.
For those who believe in Jesus Christ, the scriptures and God’s Holy Spirit voice leads us to the promise of eternal life in heaven. Please look at John 3:16 which says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Therefore, we must practice a life of holiness to become strong in Faith, wisdom, and knowledge. through Christ, our Savior all things are possible.
Please, love one another and stop competing, it’s time to draw closer to God and lean into Jesus Christ, we must live the word, not be deceived, and stop lording it over one another.
God Bless you,
Sister Christine
