Past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ

The Spirit of Heaviness

So many people in today’s world are suffering from numerous things that seem inescapable, one of which is the feeling of depression and anxiety—the weight of heaviness that keeps many feeling stuck or incapable of doing everyday things to bring light into our souls, like walking outside, praying, holding loved ones, and praising God.

Yes, depression can arise from many sources, such as life experiences, loss, and a variety of other factors, some of which may not even make sense. However, when you have a feeling of heaviness that won’t leave or subside, it can be caused by a spirit of heaviness, which Scripture speaks about.

Isaiah 61:3 says, “To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.”

This verse reminds us that Jesus can replace that feeling of heaviness with joy and praise, offering hope in Christ through our struggles.

Additionally, Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us, saying, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

In my experience, I lived these scriptures which provided me with comfort and assurance through experience that we can find peace and healing through faith and prayer in the Living Savior because it happened in real time for me.

Beloved readers, I know the spirit of heaviness and depression—the foul heftiness is real, causing severe damage to the human psyche and heart.

Yet, more significant is the power of Christ’s joy and freedom.

In 2 Corinthians 3:17, Paul said, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

I know pain’s smile and trauma’s laughter. I know the solace of hiding in fear from a heart chained to heaviness.

Today is the day of freedom. Today is your day to heal. Today is the day of your deliverance.

Today, and in agreement with the scriptures and the Spirit of God, and by the authority of the name of Jesus, the Lord release the ties to heaviness.

May your chains fall off now.

Today, the Lord Jesus Christ cast out the sickness of mind and heart in His Mighty name.

I pray in agreement that the Spirit of heaviness leaves you, now, in Jesus’ name.

The Lord break the curses that bind you to the generational straps that buckled your mind; in Jesus name.

The Lord release you from the bondage of terror, tears, depression, anxiety, and fear in Jesus name.

Today may will walk in freedom through faith in the power of the living GOD. Jesus Christ.

Please, it’s ok to trust Jesus, as we rejoice in His Mighty name and mercy.

The Bible says, “Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”—John 16:24

There is a time and season for everything, and the Lord says, “the time is now.”

“Be freed from the lock and chain, for I AM the key that frees you. Be loosed from captivity and walk in the fullness of your calling, and through My love, free others.” Saith the Lord.

“Walk in My freedom to love and serve the LORD. Rejoice in My grace that protects you. At the sound of My name, tell them, I AM the LORD.”

“By the Light of My presence, I heal you,” says the LORD.

The spoils of victory are sweet and it is through your faith, that the success is Mine.” Says the LORD.

1 John 1:5
This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him, there is no darkness at all.

“Tell your friends, family, and every co-habitant of the world from where your freedom came.” Says the LORD.

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”— Acts 4:12

Remember that past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ.

Stand and sing in the songs of freedom and dance in your deliverance; through Christ.

Shamelessly laugh in the joys of the Lord. Trust in the name of Jesus, and exalt God’s name up high.

Treasure Heaven’s Creator.

Now walk in the Lord’s freedom, in Jesus name. He adores you!

Blessings,
