Past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ

Discernment Or Your Thoughts?

Our thoughts are induced not by the Holy Spirit but by the heart initially. Spiritual and artificial are entirely different.

Artificial can be defined as manufacturing, a mock or substitute for the real thing.

Self-righteousness is also a smug self induced sovereignty yielding no fruit including love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

The Bible says, in 1 Peter, “having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart.”

It means to purify the mind, the heart is the key witness, and it happens through compliance with the written word.

Many read the word frequently yet do not apply what they heard to live what they read and reap the benefits.

The Spiritual bread is the nourishment for our souls, and to activate Christ’s Spiritual gifts, we must put into practice the truth.

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

We do not sow money to receive the Lord’s supernatural gifts; no, we fulfill God’s law by being hearers and, therefore, heart bearers and doing what it says.

Why?

To not deceive yourselves.

In James 1:22–25, we read: “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourself. “For if any be a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: “For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

Wisdom comes with the fear of God, and discernment is given and not owed to anyone for acting religious.

Snap judgment is formed by self-perception, and to think we know what God is saying through our thoughts is not discernment.

Discernment is the sensitivity to hear the Spirit through astute awareness and not personal summation .
