Past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ

Sound Godly Council For Men

We live in a society that places harsh criticism in the face of the female while the male is left to lose sight of godly principles to act out without decency.

The Bible says in Genesis 1:27: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

What is God’s principle on a man’s outward accountability? What does God have to say through the word of God to provide good council? Today we see something other than God’s righteousness in both men and women; the lines are crossed and Satan at work.

Men airing all of their personals without shirts and their pants sagging to reveal their backends, and to be clear, this is not cultural but ungodly. We have men of all skin tones flexing every chance they get by wearing apparel that accentuates their physique in a way that lures women by seductive means.

Proverbs 7:1-22
My son, keep my words And treasure my commandments within you. Keep my commandments and live, And my teaching as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”

Examples:

Placing shorts and swim trunks far below the waist reveals the V spot that proposes a sexual proposition without words. It is seductive and a cause for wondering eyes of women to look at you wrongfully.

The Bible says, in Proverbs 1:10
My son, if sinners entice you, Do not consent.

Still, men are responsible for their bodies and wearing their pants accurately. To dress in a way that is fashionable, but decent. Men are to dress inherently in God’s character. Still, it doesn’t mean in a suit and tie but decent.

Decent-Conforming with generally accepted standards of respectable or moral behavior.

Moral-holding or manifesting high principles for proper conduct.

The Lord says in both the word and Spirit that those who refuse His delight are without approval, and don’t you want to please God? The Bible has to say this about the religious who live like a skirt chaser.

2 Timothy 3:6
They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires.

Skirt-Chaser-A man who pursues women amorously and is casual in his affections; a womanizer.

Now, 2 Timothy, in context, speaks of those who speak falsely to creep in sucking in susceptible women. Still, the foundation of the message is similar to anyone acting out with deception.

We live in a morally corrupted society and one that is unequally balanced. We are witnessing the fight for sexual equality that promotes more ungodly standards. Yet, where are the voices standing on moral ground preaching about moral equivalency?

Both sexes are accountable for their actions, dress, and heart stance in and out of the church. If the church who are called by God’s name don’t live righteously acting out improperly, then how can we expect those who don’t know Christ to learn?

Millions equate culture as gospel in their lives, families, and communities when it is not true and more rebellion than anything else. Listen, we who are saved were guilty too of the same sins and behaviors, but through Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, we are changed.

Titus 3:3
For at one time, we too were foolish, disobedient, misled, and enslaved to all sorts of desires and pleasures–living in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another.

The truth is insecurity and self-doubt in both men and women cause them to make poor choices with their bodies to be seen or feel validated and sexual sin often does that for people. Leaving them feeling a temporary feeling of self-worth that births a mountain more of insecurities and validation seeking. It is the devil’s vicious cycle to chase and commit ungodly sins and immoral living.

This behavior often produces a false sense of pride in our looks or gained through speaking with a false sense of power over women, which is degrading. Women of God feel repulsed by this behavior of showiness, whereas women who have yet to be healed by Christ buy-in. We have all been there, and sadly, Jezebel is in the church giving good women a bad rap because of the ungodly ones.

Psalm 101:3
I will not look with approval on anything vile. I hate what faithless people do; I will have no part in it.

Men, in and out of the church, have placed so much attention on women to discredit them that they have failed to acknowledge they require help too. If it were not so, men would not be living like women so regularly today.

Listen, one day, we will be old and wrinkled, and the outer things men rely on will be feeble. Please understand that the worth of humanity is found in Jesus. The Bible says that looks are deceiving.

Proverbs 31:30
Charm can be deceiving, and beauty fades away, but a woman who honors the Lord deserves to be praised.

The same applies to a man; Satan comes dressed as a night in shining armor, with sex appeal and seductively in his eyes and speech. He will use men like he uses women to work with what each has. It’s time to wake up to the schemes. We must live to strive for godliness to please Him, this is where inner healing begins, and the outer things end in importance.

Question

How many find themselves locked into dreadful marriages because they started lust-filled dating? Things that look good and feel good first often love lust. Satan uses these tactics to trap people in places they never intended to go against God’s will. Many are stuck with people God never called them to be with, but the scripture teaches you to honor your wives in marriage and the children.

What about the damage caused to them by our poor choices? I am also guilty of this burden because I did the same in my sin, but Christ showed me the way later in life. It isn’t fun to be 50, 60, or 70 and still be by yourself but alone with Christ is never to be alone again.

Today I speak to all ages, and just like women the men, your bodies are the temples of God, to be respected in a godly way and not in a vane way. Your true identity is found in Christ. God knows that women often cry about how men hurt them, but many women have hurt you too. Far too often, the scales teeter heavily on one side depending on the cause or issue, and balance is where we find the truth and decent living.

Today is a reminder to be accountable and Christ-like and just like you chased skirts, chase the Gospel to be free of self-centered behavior. Today is the day to lay down false pride so that our Father’s love and discipline changes you, and you will not have to live in worry that sin causes you to fall.

Proverbs 11:2
When pride comes, disgrace comes, but with the humble is wisdom.

Proverbs 26:25-26
“When he speaks graciously, believe him not, for there are seven abominations in his heart; though his hatred is covered with deception, his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly.”

Today is a godly reminder to keep your shirts on, and holy is the way. Jesus did not walk the earth without proper attire , although I am sure he picked his garments and sandals. Jesus was not out to prove his manhood by flaunting his flesh and by fiery words to lure women, so then, why do so many men? Later to be hurt by their poor decision-making.

1 Corinthians 6:20
For you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

We often become victims of our choices, and with all due respect. There is nothing more unattractive in a man than a male screaming for attention. The way women are viewed who do it happens to be in the eyes of a godly woman. At the same time, a woman who requires Christ’s healing will fall head over heels for a weak man showing them any attention. Please, stop preying on the weak out of weakness and seek the Lord with all of your heart so that both of God’s creation has a chance to know freedom in Christ. Be a man, and in due time God will send you a godly woman, and you can worship Him together.

Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Be aware of the red flags from both sexes and treat everyone with respect even when society has yet to respect itself. Be kind, patient, and love to show others that Jesus is the way to learn from our mistakes.

Jesus is the way, and the truth, and the life.

God Bless You,
Sister Christine
