Past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ

The Truth of Jesus and His Kingdom

The message of Jesus Christ is one of unconditional love, selflessness, honor, and mercy with a captivating promise for eternal salvation in the Kingdom of God.

Who can ask for anything more? So, why then, do so many deny Him yet call Him Lord?

Why do people claim Christianity yet act out with the demeanors of devils?

The reason is religion has overshadowed the true nature of Christ and who He is.

Now, in this life, we all have choices to make, and with every action, there is a reaction, which is essentially an outcome of our efforts.

The Bible tells us that Jesus is without flaw; He is incapable of lying and telling untruths. So, why then would anyone choose to rebel against Him?

The meaning of rebel—a person who comes in opposition or resistance against an established government or ruler.

The Bible is clear that Jesus is a King.

1 Timothy 6:15
Which he will display at the proper time—he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords,

Now, here in the Gospel of John, we are taught about the Kingdom of God from the mouth of God.

John 18:36
Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.”

Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed, nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.”
(Luke 17:20-21)

What does this mean?

The kingdom of God is not a secular type of kingdom with grandeur consisting of bells and whistles; it isn’t a kingdom that we see with our natural eyes.

The kingdom is spiritual and only evident to the spiritual eyes and senses.

In human-made theology and religion, billions of people are taught to believe in things they can see: men in lavish costumes and buildings made of the finest materials. We see gold chalices and men who teach that they have the power to turn bread into the body of Christ, and they believe it, leaving no room for the truth of Jesus Christ.

The God who is a Spirit and functions in the Spirit; and this is why many will not see the Kingdom of God unless they repent and ye first the Kingdom of God.

Matthew 6:33
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

I pray this brief lesson incites the spiritual sense of someone to trust in the word of God and not in the expression of men.

The hour is upon us, and Jesus will return, and when this happens, there will be no more time to turn back, so please receive what you are being given.

Remember, Jesus was, is, and will always be a simple man, and so are His teachers. Men and women of simple stature, saved from a life of sin to bring glory to the Name of Christ.
