“As leaders, you are responsible for those you lead. These people are looking to you for guidance, like little children. We have a responsibility to lead and to lead well. We can’t take our leadership lightly.”
Brothers and sisters, the Bible tells us in the book of Timothy that many should not become teachers. He speaks to the fellow believers. Because we who have been chosen to teach will be judged more strictly.
However, even with this warning many do not adhere to this instruction. We have leaders of Christ’s Church preaching a feel-good word instead of the “Word” who is Christ Jesus.
Proclaiming sermons of prosperity and breakthrough, of tithes of mass proportion. Placing wealth “above” the Good News of the Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ.
God is firm in His warning to those that abuse the power of the Holy Spirit of God. Those who have been called and chosen to govern and lead. As not all people are given the staff to instruct and lead the way of the soul of another.
An apostle, prophet, pastor, preacher, and teacher all have leadership duties assigned, but they differ in many and various degrees.
But no matter what the assignment, mantle, and degree of anointing, they all come with it the same responsibility– to see that the souls of the lost sheep are saved.
This happens by preaching the Holy and infallible Word of Jesus Christ. The unwavering truth of the Holy Gospel.
The “Good News,” that is to be delivered in love, sincerity, and with zeal. To be poured out over the nations with self-control, selflessness, and humility.
That last one is a doozy for many. Because we see a lot of leaders who have fallen short of God’s truth and humility. Doing a lot more entertaining than teaching, and as I speak from experience, from traveling to many churches in secret. I have been brushed aside. Carrying a heavy anointing that has yet to be discovered.
Because I have been judged according to man, and not by the Spirit. I could end here and say case closed. However, let’s move on.
I will be the first to tell you that this is a no-no in God’s eyes. Believe me, the Lord is testing the church, and if today were the final grade for many—they would fail miserably.
But due to the grace and glory of God’s merciful plan for the earth. He has given second and third chances to many church leaders. But this grace and time is running out.
Isaiah 2:12…“The LORD Almighty has a day in store for all the proud and lofty, for all that is exalted, they will be humbled.”
Proverbs 11:2… “When pride comes then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.
You see the Lord hates nothing more than pride and ego and He speaks this in Proverbs 8:13…”
“To fear the Lord is to hate evil, and I HATE pride and arrogance.”
You see, once this happens, that spirit, “because that is what is,” then pours out into the congregation, and the sheep, become more like groupies. They follow the every whim of the Pastor’s counsel, and not the truth of Jesus Christ’s law and command.
Leaving many to also walk in false pride of who their Pastor is, and not walking in fear of who their God is.
The Lord has me unveiling the truths of what is happening across the board of Christianity and His church. So that we take a look at the watered-down version of his Word. One that is being sprinkled over the herd, rather than poured out over his sheep.
This leading many to walk in the ways of the wicked one and not of the Spirit of Christ Jesus.
Brothers and sisters, we must confront sin in order to overcome it. As accountability for our own actions brings with it an open door to hear the truth of the Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Let’s take a look at what the Bible tells us about sin. How we are no good without the Spirit and Word of God.
Romans 7:18 “For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.”
Apostle Paul also tells us in the book of 1 Corinthians,
“That no flesh should glory in His presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. That according to the written Word, he that glorifies, let him glorify in the Lord”
It is in Jesus Christ where we find goodness, grace, and a morsel of His perfection. So we are to only glorify Him, and not man. Yes we are to love our leaders, yes. But we are not to bow down and kiss their feet.
Now for us, the leaders of the church. Lets talk about responsibility. That which brings the accountability of sin to light. As we do so with love, strength, compassion, truth, and authority.
Without judgment and condemnation of the sin and error of another. Jesus is a compassionate God and Spirit. We too are to mirror Him in all ways. This goes for those who sit in the seats and pews as well. You are to stop judging one another. It is not of God! It angers the Lord terribly when you treat one another this way.
We are to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Problem is that many do not love themselves because they don’t really know Jesus at all. They know “church.”
However, now is the day to accomplish the will of God for the Earth. By consuming ourselves in the living and loving Word of Jesus Christ. Doing so at home and in the churches.
We need strong, solid, loving leaders that teach the truth of Jesus Christ.
For it is the refining fire of the Word of God that purifies our hearts and soul. So that we can sincerely love all people—regardless of their shortcomings and the color of their skin.
The Bible tells us to hate the sin, and love the sinner. Just like Jesus did, does, and always will.
Now as leaders we must teach on what repentance means, and how to achieve it. For without it there is [no] forgiveness. Because the preaching of breakthrough and prosperity will not save anyone.
True forgiveness only comes through true repentance, and unfortunately, many who have spent a lifetime in the church buildings, have no real understanding of what that means.
Leaders must stop “blowing smoke” in their teachings to keep the seats full and the bills paid. To keep peace between the people.
We will be accountable for every single soul that God has placed before us. So it is with truth and conviction that we are to teach. A truth that oftentimes comes with it a temporary sadness or shame. But will later bring forth an eternal glory and beauty through salvation in Jesus Christ.
A light that shines for the world to see, and isn’t that what we want for this ever declining nation and world?
We must stop blindsiding people with promises that do not pertain to everyone but only to the obedient and faithful to Jesus Christ. We must be held accountable to the Word. To not only read it, but do it.
It is a travesty what is happening in churches across the globe. So today, let us get back to the teaching of salvation “only” through Jesus Christ. To demonstrate the meaning and importance of Heaven, hell, repentance and sin.
As well as breakthrough for those who walk in the Lord’s truth. As there is a very large blessing for those who do so.
Everyone is given the opportunity, there are no exceptions to the truth. Those governing the Lord’s people in and out of the church buildings, but within the body, are being watched by the Lord—with an Eagle eye.
I was also instructed to make common knowledge this utterance from the Lord,
“Many will bare witness to the rising of My servants. To those who have been faithful to only Me. They that have been set-aside and hidden in foreign lands. They have endured tireless trial and tears, yet they have never wavered in their love and commitment for me. They have not complained nor quivered at the harshness of My discipline. But instead, they have glorified Me in every way. I will pay them back for the years the canker-worm ate at their homes and families. For the ridicule and shame for the spreading of My name.
I have watched these saints in silence. As they have prayed for those who have hurt and hindered them. It is I the Lord Your God, who will see to it that it never happens again. There will be no denying that they are My people for I have placed a specific mark upon their heads. One that is unmistakable. These are My Chosen Champions, they belong to Me.”
This is the Word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.
This is…”The Responsibility Of A Leader.“
God Bless You
