Past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ

The Holes In His Feet

Matthew 25:40
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me.’

Brothers and Sisters, we are now facing the largest homeless epidemic that this Nation has ever seen. City streets are painted with the bodies strewn about of those suffering circumstances, that implicitly, challenge the human mind. A level of pain, poverty, starvation, sadness, and addiction, that many metro folks tend to step over. These are people that were formed and fashioned in the likeness of God, who now see themselves as less than human creature. They are not voiceless stragglers adorning dirty cloths as they beg for money. They are children of the Most High, childlike spirits who beneath the debris, God sees the same as you and me.

1 John 3:1
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

Roman 3:23
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 9:22
To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings,

My God, my God what is the Lord saying? Is he trying to tell you that we are to value all life in the manner that he sees us? Is he not calling out for the people of this earth to stretch their hand? Is He longing for the compassion that He created you to come forward?

Yes that is exactly what He is saying. You my brother’s and sister’s, are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. To move about the earth as ministers of the Word, pouring out the love, compassion, and mercy of Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 58:7
Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter, when you see the naked, to cloth them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood.

Beloved, many of these lost souls are longing for nothing more that a human touch. A few minutes of your time to share a kind word, and show them you care. That someone cares! Yes they need to eat, and yes they need a place to sleep, but what they need most, is loving care. They need the bread of Christ Jesus. The morsel that satisfies the hunger of the soul, a place that no human “food” can fill.

John 6:36
Then Jesus declared, " I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty."

Beloved, I have spent the last ten years as a humanitarian, and a minister of love to God’s people. Feeding the homeless, clothing the naked, hugging, crying, and caring for their soul.

Loving the unloved and teaching them of the love and Word of Jesus Christ over the last four. The truth that He is the answer to all that ails us.

Now, whether they hear me or not is not what matters during each encounter. What matters is that they understand that all seasons come to an end. That every life has a divine appointment, and an appointed hour.

So, as it is often times disheartening to walk away from them, it is God who never steps away. So if I can leave that dead with them, I know one day God will water it, and when the the seed sprouts, there is healing.

But for now, we just continue to treat all people equal, regardless of circumstance, no matter who or what they look like. Whether they are rich or poor, left or right– black, white, red or purple. We must all walk in the agape love of Jesus Christ, and help one another. To keep our mouths free from judgment, contempt, ignorance, and slander.

Because honestly, who are we to throw a stone at another for their life choices. Whether they have made them, or whether they were made for them. You never know what someone has gone through to get where they are, both good and bad.

So please, always keep this in the back of your mind. So that when you run across someone in need you won’t hesitate in helping them.

Remember, “what you do for the least of your brother, you have done for me,” saith the Lord

Jesus Christ, may be right before you in need, and he will test your hearts. He will do so, He He won’t show you…

“The Holes In His Feet.”

John 20:25
So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and feet, or put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe."

God Bless You
