Self-forgiveness is not a surface-level decision—it is a deep, Holy Spirit-led process in Christ.
It requires personal and internal work where the Word of God confronts both the mind and the psychological systems that have been shaped by trauma, sin, and prolonged tolerance for abuse.
As the Spirit of God leads us, obedience becomes our anchor—especially through the terribly difficult days when emotions are being refined and true charachter is being revealed.
Much of the aftermath of our own sin—especially over-giving and tolerating mistreatment—is spiritually intertwined with neurological patterns. Science indeed plays a significant role here.
However, the overspiritualizing “name it and claim it” pastors use this buffoonery to try to shame people into sowing money to them for the results they claim.
“God said” ‘ If you do, if you give and get over it. Your pockets will be lined too, and your life and mind restored —nah, that’s a lie.
Because the brain’s function and neurological systems often house the very reasons why most people struggle to “get over it,” even when the name it and claim it theology is scamming.
That’s why superficial “name it and claim it” pastors and seed poachers fall short over and over.
Meanwhile, this is not just about their false doctrine—it’s about Holy Spirit transformation that only comes from time away, study, submission, and allowing the time it took to become so broken to be healed, and it can take years. I’ve walked the walk, so I’m not just repeating what anyone else has said but speaking from the heart of the matter, healed through Christ.
Because true healing and wholeness require the Word of God to pierce through both spiritual and psychological layers that false teachers have no idea how to achieve..
They rely on inferior performance
How can we expect inner workings to be superficial when our inner workings are intricately complex, and as I live and breath one thing the world does not need are more title-toting spiritual sloths and slogans.
We need the Spirit of Truth to guide us through the tangled aftermath of sin, trauma, and, oftentimes, the misplaced trust that kept us continuously abused by Jezebel (narcissists)
But Jesus—faithful, patient, and powerful—gives us all the time we need. Meanwhile, as the fraudulent chase their own tails trying to look busy for God, He waits. He refines.
He restores us, in His time.
To be thorough.
As I always say: deceiving honor is no honor at all.
And one thing I believe we could all agree on—believer or unbeliever, no matter the denomination, background, or upbringing—is this: 99.9% of the world longs for peace, for healing, for a clear mind. People want to be able to think without medication, without running to worldly therapists who only slap a Band-Aid on the wound by making you talk in circles over and over again.
But we don’t get healed by rehearsing our pain endlessly.
We get healed by the Spirit of God—the refining fire—who alone can burn off what the world can’t touch.
Healing takes time. It takes patience.
It takes energy.
It takes courage.
It takes stepping away. (Sometimes for years)
It takes being brave enough to let God work while the world calls you a coward and says you’re hiding.
But we’re not hiding.
We were healing…. So that when you and I come out, we’ll walk in greater works for the Lord—genuinely for the people, and while the false teachers and false prophets fizzle out like a sparkler at the end of its flicker.
Psalms 147:3 confirms:
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
But like the Pharisees before us, the Lord exposes the emptiness of religious charades. All their arrogance and outward shine mean nothing when the inside is filthy.
Jesus said, “You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence” (Matt 23:25).
It is with great hope In Christ that I pray that some will genuinely step forward repent and be saved.
Much love and truth,
