My dear brothers and sisters, if we desire to break free from the clutches of sin, we must first wholeheartedly embrace repentance. Repentance is the key that unlocks the door to forgiveness and absolution from our transgressions through the grace of the Lord. As Christians, it is crucial that we strive to attain true repentance, which purifies our consciousness and opens us up to the transformative power of Jesus through His Holy Spirit.

Our salvation rests upon this supernatural transformation, which unfortunately many choose to reject. However, it is through this transformation that we are led into a life of purity and holiness through Christ. He is the one who cleanses our bodies from all impurity and defilement, creating a space for His Holy Spirit to awaken and dwell within us, transforming us into a new spiritual temple.

As Paul writes in Corinthians 7:10, “Godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation.” This verse reaffirms that when we humbly acknowledge that we have hurt God, it generates a sorrowful remorse that catches God’s attention, allowing Him to accept our repentance and fulfill His faithful promises to forgive and cleanse us. It is impossible to know God without genuine repentance which leaves a good majority of the world succumbing to the spiritual crumbs of religion, placing their faith in things that are lesser than the profound truth of Christ’s Holy Gospel.

Yet, when we repent we begin to grasp the nature of GOD and develop a personal relationship with Him, akin to that of a Father and child. As Jesus Himself stated, through the Holy Spirit, He would convict us of our sin, as recorded in John 16:8. This conviction serves as a catalyst for our repentance and deepens our understanding of God’s grace and mercy.

Unfortunately, many individuals are led astray by false teachings and misguided religious doctrines. As a result, they may unknowingly come into agreement with unclean spirits, often referred to as a “religious spirits.” This darkened presence can hinder them from experiencing the blessings of the fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit. Indeed it is disheartening when they become offended as we try to assist them in establishing a genuine relationship with a loving God who deeply cares for them. But unfortunately, there are instances where pride in material buildings leads to belittlement of those anointed by God. We face hatred and similar opposition because the spirit of prophecy is Jesus. Little do they know that they hate me without a reason but the cause is Christ in me. (Revelation 19:10).

Ephesians 4:26-27 says,
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27 Neither give place to the devil.

When we become offended by the truth, we open the door for the devil to sow chaos in our lives, minds, bodies, and families. That is why God provides us with the truth through Scripture. We should never be ashamed of the Gospel and should avoid idolizing man’s words, which can lead to a form of witchcraft. It is crucial to recognize that the devil is a liar, a deceiver, and a master of deception. Therefore, we must make every effort to choose not to sin against God.

Indeed, it is essential to recognize that God’s opinion is the only one that truly matters. Psalm 51:4 conveys this sentiment, stating, “Against You, You only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight.” It pains the Lord when we are careless with our sins and fail to consider His feelings. This does not imply that we will never sin, but rather that we should strive not to live a life characterized by sin. Instead, we should be transformed by the Holy Spirit, developing a genuine hatred and repulsion towards sin out of shame before God.

As followers of Christ, it is crucial to prioritize God’s opinion above that of others, particularly when it concerns our own sin and actions. By actively seeking repentance and nurturing a relationship with our Heavenly Father, we can receive the gift of forgiveness, experience healing, and be restored to a place of wholeness.

And eventually. Redemption!!

Through the baptism of the Holy Spirit, not just through water, a transformative process begins within us. Our characters change, we develop a genuine hatred for sin, and we are made new in Christ. Our past mistakes no longer define us. When others bring up our past, it becomes a beautiful opportunity to glorify what God has done in our lives, even though at times we may feel tempted to respond with frustration. It is important to remember that their intention may be to invalidate God’s grace, but we can choose to respond with grace and gratitude for the transformation He has brought about in our lives.

Do not engage in such behavior; instead, strive to be kind and straightforward without being mean, loud, or abrasive. This is a chance for you to demonstrate the character of Jesus within you. Exercise wisdom and refrain from chastising others.

Today, what the world needs most is love, repentance, forgiveness, honesty, kindness, compassion, strength, authenticity, and boldness for truth. This applies not only in places of worship but also globally and in positions of authority. It is the love of Jesus Christ and genuine holiness found in Him that can bring about the transformation we seek.

In 2 Chronicles 7:14, GOD says, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Moreover, healthy communication leads to a better understanding of one another. Take a look!

“Therefore, each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body” -Ephesians 4:25,

Also, Paul said in Romans 15:6. Let us strive to communicate in love and truth, “so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
