Jesus makes us wait for a blessing or a breakthrough to help us develop our faith and trust in Him.
At the same time, it’s a time of preparation and undressing to make the vessel clean for the new garment.
This fact is evidenced in 1 Colossians when Paul talks about the new wardrobe in Christ.
Paul said, “Now you’re dressed in a new wardrobe. Every item of your new way of life is custom-made by the Creator, with his label. All the old fashions are now obsolete.
The verse talks about both Jews and non-Jews and our religious and irreligious beliefs, and our wild and outsider behavior and characteristics attached to our old life of sin out of line with Christ-like living.
Moreover, the purpose of waiting is elusive to time and reason.
Let the people judge.
While it is difficult to understand the rationality of waiting, the flesh begins to fade, and the Spirit increases. Simultaneously, the soul begins to shine, and the character reveals itself.
The desert digs up destiny.
Scripture says “the testing of our faith produces patience, and patience perseverance and character. (James 1:3).
Therefore, when we wait years for a breakthrough and learn to rely on Yahweh’s timing and patience, we appreciate the process that manifests the blessings.
It is not Father’s will to push past when God says to wait, and waiting is also a time of rearranging.
Father’s will and timing look nothing like worldly prosperity and success; God’s timing and truth look nothing like the follow-me movement; that is not God’s will.
As we wait for Christ’s blessings and cleanse our bodies for the garments, pure wine pours in, and we take comfort that everything will reflect Christ’s excellence when the process is complete. Rest assured, Jesus has all we need to succeed in a godly sense. He is present and preparing His people.
Christ loves us and is always with us. His love enables us to persevere through the waiting and hatred that includes the crushing and to remain hopeful for the future. He loves and protects us unconditionally, shielding us from anything that could harm or impede our calling in Christ.
Isaiah 41:10 confirms: “So do not fear, for I AM with you; do not be dismayed, for I AM your God. I will strengthen and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
We have comfort in knowing that Jesus is with us in the desert, giving us strength and courage to face danger.
As a result, we are made new; the skins are stretched and filled. While simultaneously learning that the waiting period is to deepen our understanding of God’s Word and reflect on our lives and those we touch through the gospel of Jesu Christ.
Furthermore, I enjoy the Message Bible when adding clarity to gain a broader picture simply.
Pauls’s instruction in Romans 12:2 declares, “Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking.
Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out.
Readily recognize what he wants from you and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you and develops well-formed maturity in you.
Meanwhile, beloved people, please believe that the longer the wait and the spiritual and physical body transformation, the higher the calling.
In Christ, to fly, we have to not only grow wings but also learn how to use them.
As it is written in Isaiah 40:31 (NIV), “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Similar to the butterfly, the metamorphic transformation of a miracle occurs in the cocoon, shielded from the eyes of the public. They see the transformation but are unable to comprehend the complete stripping from one body to another.
Without having lived it.
