Today, we will explore the biblical and spiritual truths about prophecy and tongues, clearly outlined in the scriptures. Sadly, like many other aspects of scripture, as they pertain to the modern idea of churches and faith, the enemy has infiltrated the truth, twisting it out of order and leading the church astray. The LORD has sent me to share the truth in a simple and spiritually understood way.
Today, I encourage you to study so that when you see people claiming spiritual gifts and producing videos or standing on stages speaking gibberish, claiming it is “tongues,” ask yourself who benefits from this?
The Bible encourages us to desire the gifts of the Spirit and instructs us to steward these gifts responsibly.
While speaking in tongues may edify oneself, prophecies edify the church.
Prophecy isn’t always about foretelling the future; it includes the spiritual instruction that comes from the anointing, which is Christ. No man needs to teach us to pour it out to you (1 John 2:27). The direction of the modern church is to push everyone to speak in tongues, which today are no more than gibberish. Christ would rather have us prophesy.
The Bible says that the one who prophesies is more significant than one who speaks in tongues, “unless” there is interpretation so that the church may be edified.
Does this mean a Prophet is higher than one who speaks in tongues? No, I reject any interpretation that lacks discernment and creates a false narrative.
However, the text provides explicit instruction that videos and church leaders, even congregants, who speak in tongues for extended periods without interpretation may fall into one of the following categories:
A. Deceived and needing correction and deliverance, possibly due to inappropriate teaching and bewitching by others.
B. Putting on a show for fanfare and theatrics. The greedy are kings and queens of showmanship.
C. Displaying disobedience by choosing not to listen to the scriptures and edifying oneself instead of the ears of onlookers (the church).
D. Engaging in fraud, which is self-explanatory. Often, individuals like these shout out words like “POWER” after their word salad, which ultimately amounts to nothing.
Tongues are the language through which we communicate directly with God. They often come in bursts, and when in private, God knows what they mean. When tongues are used responsibly in a gathering, the person with the gift of interpretation is present, such as within a church building or even in your home gathering, where the body is in communion with the Father.
This brief lesson aims to teach and shed light on the truth in God’s ways so that we may be effective. Isn’t that the goal of ministry, the gospel, and Holy Spiritual growth, not the wickedness of the Kundalini Spirit’s antics?
To be sincere, obedient, and effective requires discipline and the sharpening of one another. I pray with the heart of Christ that the truth is received in love today while I rebuke the spirits that speak falsely about the Lord’s instruction.
We believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, not the false gregarious church habits of men called holy.
Now, when a “Prophet” makes videos from this country or another and speaks nothing but “tongues” over you, who can say whether it is the Holy Spirit, the Kundalini Spirit, or another familiar Spirit speaking something that is not of God? And you have come into agreement with it without understanding its meaning?
Well, a sure sign is when things begin to go south or when the so-called “miracle” is short-lived. This is because it is nothing more than an emotional response that gradually fades away, leaving behind the consequences of hidden evil.
The Lord provides wisdom and discernment. Therefore, I encourage you to seek God’s word and the Holy Spirit until your discernment grows. — I am here to help, but not to do it for you. As your relationship with Jesus is personal.
Remember, the spirit of Jezebel has also polluted the body of Christ and desires to destroy the proper office of the Prophet. This demonic serpent pretends to be what it is not, so it hates with envy those who are genuine. Aside from its manipulative ways of deceiving through friendships, it often masquerades as a Prophet, putting on a show in various forms, especially through the use of tongues and mystical theatrics. All talk!
Remember, faith comes by hearing and not by sight. We must use wisdom and the discretion of the Holy Spirit. If you come across videos or pastors in stages where you hear no words in English or your native language, turn them off and separate yourself from that person.
Seek God diligently on the matter. And if you have not heard yet, God is still working on you. Believe!
Scripture:
1 Corinthians 1:5
5 For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge.
Acts 2:4
All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
Mark 16:17
And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name, they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues.
Corinthians 14:2
For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.
1 Corinthians 14:23
So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and inquirers or unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind?
1 Corinthians 14:27-28
27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, two—or at the most three—should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret. 28 If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and to God.
Corinthians 12:8-11
To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.
11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.
Corinthians 13
1 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
There you have it!
Although some may think this is a long read, it is actually a very brief instruction. I assure. You that it can save you many years of religious abuse from imposters and guide you on how to increase your spiritual life and your relationship with Jesus Christ.
God bless you.
Much Love,
Sister Christine
