To The Church

We are living in devastating times, and the youth are being sucked into a silo of sin, sickness, perversion, violence, arrogance, and self-vanity. Some of it is undoubtedly putrid to watch and disgusting to listen to.

However, to react to these things by insulting, mocking, or making fun of them is not what God asks of us as professing Christians and followers of Christ. —Our job, through the fruits of the Holy Spirit given to us by Christ, is not to react but to exercise self-control and see the situation for what it is.

It takes time to step back for a second. As terrible as people may act, I know darn well that I did some awful things when I was younger, as we all did in our sins. —

News Flash:

No sin is worse or better than another. The sin of the high and mighty-minded religious church-goers who slander, secretly watch porn, backbite, and bear false witness in the finest suits and dresses is no better than that of the filthy-mouthed street thug who sells drugs and openly engages in sexual sin.

Proverbs 14:12 – “There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.”

Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of Sin (All Sin) is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

I urge everyone to genuinely seek Christ, self-reflect, repent, and live by the Scriptures to understand the meaning of Jesus’ compassion and mercy.

Here are a few to start:

Matthew 9:36 – “When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.”

Matthew 14:14 – “When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick.”

Ephesians 4:32 – “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

Colossians 3:12 – “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.”

All people must get off their high and mighty soapboxes and realize that through Jesus Christ, there is mercy and compassion. —We are called to show this same mercy and compassion to others.

It is not always easy to love and show compassion to those who act wildly or who can’t stand us because they perceive us as better than them when we don’t feel that way. We know what Jesus has done for us and live as a new creation, as it is written, through Christ, which is true and honorable because of God’s dignity.

It’s called grace!

Beloved people, it takes patience to deal with the most hardened. —From personal experience, I can tell you that the hardest hearts are not found on the streets. The toughest and even more physically violent, yes, but hardened hearts can be found in surplus in today’s modern ideas of church and religion.

Please, it’s time to repent, trust Jesus, and become more like Christ. The Bible says Jesus is coming for a spotless bride, not an egotistical, impatient, prideful, greedy, condemning, spiritually rebellious, and carnally corrupt church.

Scripture:

Ephesians 5:27 – “and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.”

This message is a perfect place to start, with God-given self-control instead of offense.

The truth will set us free,
