Past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ

A Foul Tongue Pollutes God’s Children

We live in a society contaminated by way of Satan. A civilization which calls good evil and evil good. A divided land of demonic democracy and callous and corrupt speech.

So, today, let’s talk about the truth of a foul tongue and move ahead with the change through righteousness.

Ephesians 4:29 “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what helps build others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”

The Lord is clear on His stance on a foul tongue. However, much of God’s creation have turned from the Lord’s ways. To dance to the beat of their drum—the ways of the world and culture. Cursing has become the standard of speech, and its vile practice is wicked in the eyes of God.

To live this way is not innocent and harmless, and to communicate with one another with the Devil’s tongue is a danger to our eternities. The Lord’s decree is to keep our mouths free from sin, sickness, and what is harmful to others.

Now, if we stand on any street corner in the city or suburb, you can be sure to hear obscenity. No longer do we find this dialect in smoky bars but in every home across America. It has become the custom way of communicating with one another, and while the world rejoices in evil, Jesus mourns at our disregard for His instruction.

Psalm 34:13 keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.

Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

Throughout scripture, we find God’s instruction to speak in a pleasing way to God and those around us. We are to refrain from a foul talk, including cursing, slander, gossip, and name-calling.

To be a Christian means to be Christ-like—filled with Christ, and in no way does Jesus speak like this.

Matthew 12:37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your comments, you will be condemned.”

In regards to females, God did not create us to speak like men, dress, act, or pretend to be masculine. God didn’t create women to be weak and passive; no, Father God made us in His image: to be Holy and live according to His moral principle.

Jehovah’s daughters are to be ladies, acting out with love, strength, kindness, and dignity.

Lady – A woman of superior social position, especially one of noble birth.

Now, a Nobel birth, what does that mean to those born into poverty or a less than a wealthy circumstance?

It means we are created in the image of God; and Him we find nobility; this is how we become Queens and Christ-like.

1 Corinthians 1:26For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is more vital than man’s strength. 26 Brothers, consider the time of your calling: Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were powerful; not many were of noble birth. 27But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.

The dignity of nobility comes from Christ; it is the wisdom of God. So, to anyone who chooses to call themselves a Christian, we must be a Christian. To live as one who reflects the image of the God. The King of all salvation.

Our worldly merits will not gain us purity; it is a gift from God who fills us with the Holy Spirit. The refining fire to purify and cast out what doesn’t belong—the impurities.

By submitting ourselves to Christ, with our heart, mind, body, soul, and Spirit, Jesus does for us what we can not do for ourselves.

Luke 9:23 And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.

Galatians 5:24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

In our weakness, Christ makes us strong, and the Bible says, “the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom,” and the fear of God is found in humility. God calls us to posture ourselves before the Lord and seek his goodness, and with a high sense of self, it seems impossible to happen—by through Christ, all things become possible.

We must be obedient until death and live the Holy word of God but Sadly, what is more, unholy than an unbeliever acting out perversely?

A person claiming the name of Christ and acting out perversely. The Lord is clear that His followers are to reflect who He is and live as pillars of His righteousness—to lay down the rest.

Jesus will hold up His end of the bargain when we uphold ours. This is how Christ receives the glory and the gifting pours out to others.

We lead by example.

Galatians 2:20I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ is the New Covenant that makes all things possible; Jesus gives us a chance at a new life to don’t lead others to sin by our behavior.

Matthew 18:6-9 But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea. “Woe to the world for temptations to sin! For it is necessary that temptations come, but woe to the one by whom the temptation comes!

The little ones are God’s creation —His people. God cares for every human being, so cursing and acting out with a disregard for the ways of Christ is a sin.

Our children, learn from their parents; and whether in school, on the street, and around others, they are taking in all things through their eyes and ears.

Meaning, we are also responsible for everyone around us; including the little ones.

However, more often, children learn bad behavior before hitting the streets, schools, and social environments, and by the time they do they become a menace.

Living out the same attributes of those before them—their parents and caretakers. Children act out what they learn.

The behavior learned in our youth pours out in our adulthood, and the sin becomes a habit—leading many people into guilt, and to hell.

Yes, obscenity is that serious; and the cultural way of living can be detrimental to our eternal salvation.

We see grown adults acclimated to speaking wickedness in front of their children, and what is worse, “if at all possible,” out of the home and into the ears of other people’s children. It is anything but “normal,” and this behavior, habit, or choice is a hindrance in allowing the Holy Spirit to function in your body. As well as rearing happy, healthy, and unpolluted children.

The Spirit of God’s essence, “the Holy Spirit,” will not dwell in an unwholesome place. There are multiple passages within scripture teaching the lessons, and warnings of God. The topic of a clean tongue is detrimental to the rearing of a mentally, emotionally, and spiritually sound children, kids who grow into adults.

The disseminating of this practice is genuinely destroying our communities as well as the ears of all who are forced to listen to it.

So be prepared to reap what you sow from the words we speak, and to those who lead the little ones to sin, Christ will pour out His rebuke.

Paul tells us in Ephesians 5:4 “Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk, or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.”

Now, I realize that many claim this as a habit or perhaps a pattern of what they were taught.

However, I came from a non-structured home in the ways of holiness, and profanity is what I was taught, by example—yet beaten when used. This is a vivid picture of the Devil’s confusion. How many can relate; how many are guilty?

We learn by hearing, and in hearing, we act out, so today, the Lord is teaching us to practice this same principle with the word of God.

James 1:22But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. The glory of God is here and offered to those with the willingness to receive it. Jesus will do for us what we can’t do for ourselves when we do the work.

Remember, no one receives a reward or pays for doing nothing to obtain it. Now, allow me to close with the Lord’s wisdom and not my own.

Proverbs 4:24Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.1

Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s Temple is Holy, and you are that Temple.

The Lord loves you so much, and He desires only for you to be holy as He is Holy. To be born-again so that He may work in you.

We are to live free of wickedness and filled with Christ’s glory.

God Bless You,
