Past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ

A Father’s Love and Discipline.

I think we can all agree that being a parent is a challenging position yet fulfilling and beautiful at the same time. It calls us to not only love with affection but to love through the practice of enforcing principles—a disciplined child is generally a well-rounded child. When reared in godly principles, they exhibit a morally grounded foundation in Christ that furthers their success in life.

Hebrews 12:11
No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Discipline through experience plays an important role as well, and while we are all someone’s son or daughter this life lesson aids in helping to teach a child responsibility what we have lived through.

But what about accountability, holding a child responsible for their actions? It’s fair to say that bringing up solid and virtuously sound adolescents is difficult presently. It takes honorable parents to raise ethical children. Discipline begins in the home and is just as crucial in our school systems, while communities that promote YHWH’s principles have more of a chance to live peaceably than those that promote sin and wickedness.

Our goal for our children should always be to raise them according to Christ’s standards and not the world. To mold solid and secure adults, the potter has to be God. At the same time, they must be equipped in their minds and emotions to withstand the societal temptations of sin, sickness, sexual immorality, and drugs.

What a wonderful world we would be without those things, but unfortunately, due to the fall of man, we must endure the result.

Ifs safe to say that most people desire our communities revived and restored to keep the kids safer. Still, it’s only going to happen by appointing YHWY’s people to the correct leadership positions to see it through to fruition.

We must teach our communities the way Christ has led us to impart of fruits of the Spirit, which are self-control, kindness, and compassion, and let’s not forget to promote daily self-reflection to stay on our toes and upkeep the self-awareness in Christ. By confidently encouraging one another to be better in Christ and not materially, we urge the children and their parents to live more honorably for one another, not only ourselves. A community is ear tally a congregation of people, and rather than stay behind church walls where only the visitors hear the message, why not elect and appoint godly men and women to oversee the world’s systems to pour it out openly?

Let’s look at how ABBA disciplines and leads to gain a fuller perspective on the proper way to guide our children and systems.

In many respects, ABBA is both a mother and father by loving, patiently, and nurturing with a calm and peaceful character, yet bold and stern when needed. Similarly, ABBA is a no-nonsense parent. He is straightforward in His speech, leaving us never to question His guidance. When God speaks, His yes and no are the same in meaning.

Society would be strongly influenced positively if all people lived according to God’s principles and child-rearing. Love would flourish, insecurity would gradually diminish, and crime and the imitative mindset would stop and how wonderful the world would begin to be.

It’s an extraordinary thought that isn’t too far out yet; with negativity on the tips of the people’s tongues, how can we expect this world to come to this type of parental involvement in leadership if people fail to take God’s correction?

ABBA is not only God But Father. YHWY gives without asking in return. He loves guilds, mends, and molds, and His heart is complete with mercy. Similarly to a biological father, God disciplines, in love and it doesn’t always feel good.

Think back to your childhood and ask yourself, when I was disciplined, did it feel good? Did I jump for joy when sent to my room for misbehaving or when my mom took away my privileges? Did it feel good? No, it made you angry, but you learned how to respect your parent’s authority and deal with it, and it helped you to be a better person in the long run.

Discipline is training people to obey rules or a code of behavior and using penalties to correct disobedience.

God uses this correction to fix our disobedience. ABBA is our most significant parental figure to restore sound reasoning and character. He sets us straight. We should be grateful and not complain. The Bible has numerous verses detailing correction to discipline.

Proverbs 13:24
Whoever spares the rod hates their children, but he who [loves] their children is careful to discipline him.
Proverbs 3:11-12
My son, do not despise the Lord's discipline or be weary of his reproof, for the Lord reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights.
Hebrews 12:5-6
And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? “My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him. For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives.”

My beloved church, ABBA, loves and adores you more than you can wonder or imagine. It’s with compassion He reprimands His children; our Father chastises us to prepare and equip us to live righteously. Our Father’s will is for humanity to love with pure hearts. To look and live like Jesus. To learn to look past the exterior of people and behaviors and attempt to understand why they suffer in sin—called to be like Christ.

Liken to the love our Father has for us; He patiently sees our struggles while He knows us intimately.

Jeremiah 1:5
Before I formed you I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.

The world is suffering, And many have targeted God for the chaos when the blame falls on Satan for being godless. Satan is a liar and deceives others to live like thieves.

John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Don’t be surprised that in the upcoming days, and years there will be change, but until them we must walk in faith and live to learn from our Fatger and seek Christ’s righteousness.

The days are filled with sickness and sin, but past the pain comes reward through faith in Jesus Christ, and in the pressing is where the oil secretes the power. God has further plans for the earth, so we must believe—good things take time and slow and steady is the way.

Zechariah 4:10, Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.”

The Father’s Love And Discipline are both a blessing and an honor to receive. Do not complain but marvel in His presence.

God Bless You, Sister Christine
